I purchased a used F150 from Midway Nissan. When I went there it was missing 2 headrests in the back seat. I asked if they had them and they said no. I googled it and saw I could purchase them fro about $100.00 each, si it was not a huge deal at the time.

Wen I got home after purchasing the vehicle, my son pointed out on the Craigs list add that all three headrests where in the images on their advertisement. I have tried 3 times to reach the General manager and he has yet to follow up with me.

I expect Midway Nissan to purchase these 2 headrests and have them delivered to me

I'm glad I was able to help. When I called the dealership they were extremely nice to me and was willing to do what they needed to do to resolve the issue.

i'm so glad that I was able to help when I called the dealership they were extremely nice to me knowing that I was a automotive consultant at Rip Off Report.   After talking to the customer who bought the truck he was very nice and I think all is good.  These are the kind of situations that I love getting a hold of and trying to help resolve issues especially when the dealership really wants to work with me and make things good.

Years ago I used to work at that dealership when it was called Culver Nissan  The people that run that store now or great sometimes when you go to a car dealership to buy something and negative issues come to life it's because of misunderstanding.   Sometimes it's the small oversight.

When  a dealership knows that I am a  automotive consultant at Rip Off Report they are willing to work with me to try to resolve the issue.  I always say the customer should do their homework before they go out and buy a car don't be  so quick to part with your money do your homework.

1.  Learn the value of your credit before you go to a dealership of your choice.

2.  Trying to be reasonable as to what your car is worth when you go to tradE it in.  You might have some emotional attachment to the vehicle that you planned a trade-in there's no value to that when it comes to money.  Dealerships are not going to pay you for emotional attachment to a car that you're trading in.

So get that check up from the neck up before you get to the dealership.

3.  Don't ever pay full sticker price for a car especially a new car unless that new car is the only one they have on the lot and they are hard to get.

4.  Before you sign the contract to buy the car that you want call your insurance company and find out what kind of increase you are going to be expected to pay when it comes to car insurance . do this before you buy the car not after.

5.  When you go to a dealership is your choice you do not have to buy everything that the finance manager is trying to sell you such as gap insurance,  paint protectant,  nitrogen in your tires.   Extended warranties.

6.  When you buy a car from most dealers the finance manager or the sales manager maybe even the salesman will ask you to sign a document called a WE OWE.  It's a document showing everybody involved in the transaction what the dealership is going to give you when you buy the car and it's also going to show you.  What the dealership is not going to include in the deal.

7. When you buy a used car.  Ask the dealership if they've done what's called a predelivery inspection to make sure everything is OK.

8.  Will you buy new car the dealership is going to talk to you  what is called a CSI  Survey.  If the dealership does everything that they can do to earn your business and you agree with it you should fill out the survey in a very positive manner.   New car dealerships love it when customers do that.

9.  If you were a member of a credit union always call them up and ask them about potential financing options before you go to the dealership.  This can save you a lot of money if you're willing to do your homework and call them before you go to the dealership.

10.  Tell your friends that Rip Off Report is here to help you make things better and it's also something that can help dealerships.

Now let me say something to all car dealers that read this.  If you would like to know about corporate advocacy for your dealership,  send an email to Rip Off Report asking to speak to the automotive consultant.

The founder of Rip Off Report knows me very well and I'll do whatever I can to help you enhance your image on the Internet and show you tools that you can use to show your customers that you care.  I am more than willing to work with you and help you reach your future goals.

Go to this website and do a search on auto dealership called  OFF LEASE ONLY  and look at the first of seven reports.

Also do a search on this website for a dealership called Mirabella Motors  A very unique dealership that's a part of the corporate advocacy program.

If your car dealership and you  have a commitment to customer satisfaction you might want to touch base with me the automotive consultant Ed Rip Off Report.   What I do has nothing to do with ego it has to do with helping you show your future customers in your current customers that you want to do whatever you can to earn their business and maintain a happy relationship with your customers.

A person from the Rip Off Report contacted me the same day I submitted my complaint. The person I spoke to was super nice and had already contacted the dealership. All I want is for the dealership to make it right and order me 2 new headrests.

I think you are out of luck

The Dealer stated as missing and not included durring your purchase, that absolves them of responsiblity.

Unfortunately you have admited as much on this forum so sueing is out of the question.

By the way it is common for items like this that are sun or baby puke damaged to be removed from a used vehical.
