MidwayNissan In Phoenix Fraudelent claim of telling pople they pay money out for a friend referral - which never happened Ripoff Phoenix Arizona
My husband and I filled out a Bar None questionaire and was contacted by Midway Nissan to come in and talk to a loan specailist about buying a vehicle. We asked them on the phone if we were getting a loan and they said yes. We went down two days later, met with a salesperson from 7PM - 1:30AM - talking/filling out forms etc.. We kept asking about the loan and was told we were pre-approved and the loan should go through. We were also told, if we refer a friend we were to be compensated $150.00 if the person bought a new vehicle. We told our friend, he went down not even one (1) week later and bought a truck and had it financed through the dealership. We received a phone call from the dealership that we were to finalize the loan papers. I asked if the loan went through and was told yes. I met my husband there and was told to wait while our paperwork was pulled - we sat there from 5:30pm - 8:30pm and after that time we were asked to return the keys of the vehicle. I asked for my deposit money and was told to come back because they did not have the refund of my deposit ready. I asked, if they knew I was coming in, why did they not have it ready? I went back to next day to get the refund and was given a check, but they could not find my other down payment check. I waited yet again at the dealer from 11:30 - 1pm that day. I went to the bank to cash it so I can deposit cash in my account and was told this was a transfer account only and the check could not be cashed.
This has been since Memorial Day - my friend has already made his first truck payment and I still have not received the $150.00 referral check - My husband has called numerous times and was told "Oh, that did not get to you?" and "We'll Check into it"
Not for nothing - I kept asking about the loan being approved, I was told no problem, which it was and I can use the $150.00. If they said it, they should have kept up their end of the bargain.

Veronica many car dealers use this "pre-approved" BS just to get you excited. PRE means before! Pre does NOT MEAN you are approved. PRE means BEFORE and nothing else. Approved means you are approved. In the auto industry "PRE" means JACK and only JACK! It's only a tool many use to get you excited and make you THINK you are in the money. Just like many car dealers use the word "SALE" every weekend. Break down the word SALE like this. S= Suckers A= Are L= Loose E= easy What is so special about a car dealer having a sale? they have them EVERY WEEKEND. They have a different name for every one they have. like "Construction Reduction sale" "Manager says Move them out sale" "end of the mont sale" "4th of July sale" "New year sale" "Under new management sale" "Boss is out of town sale" "Tent Event sale" Crap there is so many names for a sale. Makes me sick to hear all the hipe and BS that many use just to sell some over priced SLEDS! I would like to see you readers try to find the web sites that help teach car dealersand their sales people how to take more of your money. Go to google.com and try and see if you fine folks and find the web sites of companies that train car sales people how to take control of car shoppers. Lets see if you people can find the web sites and then post them on this report. I bet you can't find them! Many car dealers hire companies to come in and train their sales people how to take CONTROL of the shoppers and flip them into BUYERS. Let's face it car sales people are TRAINED. The question is WHO TRAINS THEM? No for homw work, YOU GO HUNT THEM DOWN and post their web sites. I bet you can't find them!
