I worked as a truck driver for Mike Daniels from 2000 to 2002 at the end of which i ran into trouble with the state of Oregon. I was charged with several counts (DUI, Falsifying Log Books, Fire Arm Charge's, Concealed Weapon and a few extra that do not even shine compared to the previous).

Anyhow, upon this event i was personally terminated by Mike Daniels with the understanding that if all these charges were dismissed and my CDL was still in tact, he would hire me back.

So, in fact all the charges against me were dismissed and my CDL license remained intact. never the less, Mike Daniels decided not to hire me back (No skin off my a*s), but due to the fact that he terminated me for no technical reason i drew unemployment benefits until finding employment, Mike disputed this and i was awarded benefits (lucky me). Then Mike disputed unemployment again with falsified documents and benefits were taken away leaving me to pay the benefits payed to me back (What a d**k Head).

I payed unemployment back and everything is good except that Mike Daniels slanders my name to any and every employer i seek a job with by stating i have a drug problem (Against the Law). I have been a Commercial Driver for 23 years and have never failed a drug test nor have i ever had an accident or out of service violation, over 2 million spotless miles.

Come to find out, law enforcement received a tip on a Mike Daniels Driver in 2002 in regard to drinking and driving one of his rigs (not me), they soon caught up with the real suspect (Jim Hall) about a year later in N California doing 90 mph drunk as hell, not to mention that Mike has a history of DUI himself after colliding with a lady in her car while he was intoxicated behind the wheel of his big rig (puts his trucks on a watch list in Oregon).

Anyhow, if you want to be treated like s**t, lied to, pay his Oregon PUC on your way south, work on your day off with no compensation and have your prospective employer's lied to just to screw you over after you quit, then Mike Daniels Motor Freight is the job for you, Good Luck!

 Hey Marty

I stand corrected, thanks for the clarification and yes i did find an outstanding attorney and obviously have an awesome guardian angel.

You being a 39 year veteran tells me you know the game well and yes i ran hard chasing the dwindling dollar as you well know.

1. The concealed weapons charge was my ball peen hammer (tire thumper) at the base of my seat.

2. The fire arm charge was my 12 gauge in my bunk, no law against a shot gun in "my dwelling" at that time. (lucky me).

3. The DUI charge was for consuming those "Yellow Jackets" and "Black Beauties" they used to sell at the fuel desk at every truckstop in America. When Officer Hayes asked what have i ingested that day, i told em a sandwich, coffee and "2 Black Beauties" and the cuffs went on in a jiffy. ha ha.

Anyhow, i do appreciate your condolence's and do not wish to strive with anyone in regard to wether i am guilty or not. There are only 2 who know the truth and only one who has the authority to judge.

I honestly attempted to retract my post at sometime in the past as this matter is insignificant in comparison to my history between then and now but, since the post stays i feel compelled to respond to any rebuttles and i do have to admit that i enjoy communicating with others like yourself.

 Thanks Marty and Best Regards.

First, and the important part to me,is I didn't bless you,I said God Bless and that wasn't just for you that was for all.

Second you said the cop wasn't an idiot, that you had a good lawyer. That tells me you where guilty and got off.Which is ok in my book because the rich do it all the time.

Third, I've been a truck driver for 39 years and I know what anyone is capable of that owns trucks, trucking and honesty don't go together.

And forth, not only do I not know the dude, but I live in PA which I believe is on the other side of the country.

You would have to admit that for most people reading your complaint that have nothing more than a speeding tickect in life,it sounds off the wall.Every time I read the charges that was brought against you,I say wow this guy has an angel on his shoulder,or a good lawyer. As far as your exboss nothing suprises me any more,I didn't get unemployment from my last job either,so do I know?

Just one more thing,God Bless and I hope everything works out for you.

I forgot to mention as well that, My current CDL is "Enhanced" meaning that i am cleared to cross International North American Borders, I also possess a current and valid TWIC Card meaning i have TSA clearance to enter any International Port within America and also i currently possess the proper security clearance to deliver to and for all US military installations contained within the US Borders.

These credentials are not obtained by criminals nor even mediocre drivers.

The events of my claim and my exoneration are clearly evident via DAC/USIS, TSA, Dept of Licensing and am quite happy to provide such validation to any and all who are lawfully authorized to view such.

So to clarifiy, No "Corporate Blacklist's" for me and yes i agree "somthing does'nt seem right".

Oh Yeah, PS. Check out my "Perfect CSA Score".

Well, i would have to say that Officer Hayes is definitely not an "Idiot" but was doing his job as his training dictates. In response to your second question "How do these charges get dropped?" I can only say that Sam McKeen (my attorney and former Oregon State Prosecutor) did a great job of assuring that justice prevailed (ie, charges dropped and immediate reinstatement of my driving privileges).

Yes, i agree with you Marty "That which does not kill us will make us stronger".

Nice attempt at invalidating my claim, i understand, you are sticking up for your buddy. Marty, you do not have the authority of "Blessing me in Gods name" nor do you have the data required to make anything other than an uninformed opinion, ie "heresay" or "gossip".

Best Regard's.

No What? Validation to my claim?

#6UPDATE EX-employee responds

I can provide loads of validation to my claims from former prospective employers who have quoted mikes negative and false comments in regard to my supposed drug use in order to prevent my employment (I bet Willis rings a bell for one. and what about Walsh? just for starters. Also, i can provide witnesses in the form of former employee's (Jim, Chuck, David, Rock, ect) to back many more of my claims.

I have found no DOT regulations in regard to making false statements against former employee's but, there are Labor and Industry rules in place against such behavior.

As for my statement's in regard to myself and events that took place i have all Court, Attorny, DOT, Department of Licensing (ect) documentation on hand and open for viewing.

Oh well, what ever, as stated before "no skin off my a*s". this was so long ago now that i can only laugh about it. ha ha.

Nice CSA Score by the way, Best Regards.

In the very first paragraph of the complaint. How on earth do you get charged with things like this and then have the charges dropped? Are you also suggesting you where arrested by a bunch of idiots. No offence intended, something just don't seem right.

But at any rate, welcome to corporate Americas Blacklist,it hasn't killed me so it won't kill you,and like they say anything that don't kill you only makes you stronger.

I wish everyone nothing but the best and God Bless.
