I responded to an online ad for a portable vacuum cleaner and paid with a credit card. I received a confirmation of the order and shortly thereafter received a notice that the item was shipped. There was no tracking number. I contacted them to advise that item has not been received and shortly thereafter I contacted them for a refund or product.
I received no further communications from them. I received my credit card bill and noticed on the statement that the item had been 2 days after placing the order. It was paid to a marketing company and did contain and telephone number. I have been unsuccessful in locating the online seller.
It has been months since my purchase. As of this writing I have not reported this to my bank. I intend to do this immediately.
