As a recent college graduate I started looking for work. With the job market being as horrible as it is I decided that I would take just about anything as four months of nothing. At the start of Fall I applied for the copmany Milestone Consulting Inc. I thought hey it something. I applied on a Friday and I heard back on a Monday. I interviewed with them on that following Thursday. When I arrived at the office there were probably a couple of people there as well waiting for an interview as well and a lady working the front desk. The first interview was the standard as the usually interview questions about what you looking for in a job. When it was over they said that if they were interested that they would call later that day for another interview. I recieved the call and schedule to come in that following Monday for a lunch interview. I was expecting some nice for the lunch interview they took me to a fast food joint (reflecting upon this I should have known). During the interview I was ask questions about my personality like things I like to do extc. Then the interviewer got down the infrasture of the copmany. I was told to expect somewhere between $300-500 a week for the first three or so weeks then the pay would increase. That the job involved going door to door marketing/saleing AT&T U-Verse. During the whole time it was never said that pay is based on 100% consmission. After the interview I was dropped off in the office saying that hardly anyone makes it passed this point. Later that day I got a phone call saying that they would like to hire me. I took it thinking that hey it was a job.

My first day I was introduce to everyone and was taught the system. Then I went out on the route. The second was what they called a pre-management meeting which involved teaching us about the organzation. Then working what they called a terrioty. Pretty much you spent 3 hrs practicing how to sale the product in the office then you drove to where you would be working. You were expected to be out on the terrioty (aka the T) until 8 pm working in the dark very poorly lited early trying to make a sale. After quizzing some of the managers in order to get information about the copmany and the responses I got like it frown upon to take a bathroom break while you working the T; it helped to make up my mind about the copmany. On the day that I decided to leave there were several other newer workers that started a couple days before me being told that they would not be getting there paycheck as expected as well as issues with the copmany suppose insurance. At least one or two walked out at the same time as me. The copmany pays on what suppose to be every three weeks from when you start and then every week.

I left three weeks ago after being there for just over two weeks (closing 10 applications). I never recieved my paycheck and in truth I don't expect to see it. Upon during research on the head copmany Cydcor I don't think I'll ever see a dime from my time there.
