Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Back in 2004 my husband and I went to a NJ office for MVI Marketing after receiving an invitation via telephone, where they told us that we were to listen to an hour pitch and recieve a free vacation.

We drove an hour and a half and did exactly what they said. What they were selling was intersting, but fortunately we did not want to invest such a large amount of money at the time and chose to just receive the free vacation.

They gave us a certificate and told us fill it out and send it in to get our free vacation. It took them over 1 month and a 1/2 for them to finally get back to us with the next series of paperwork to fill out.

This time around they requested that we send in a "$50 good faith refundable deposit per person." The registration/validation form was sent in along with 2 good faith 'U.S. Postal money orders' via certified mail, all as per their request.

It then took them around another month for them to send us the reservation Welcome Package and planning form. On none of these papers did they ever have a phone number listed.

So we filled out the planning form and sent it in. They proceeded to send it back to us twice citing Departure City and Holiday Date as the reason that they couldn't approve our vacation yet.

The first time we submitted new dates and cities so that we could try and still get our vacation. When they sent it back a second time, we chose to request our $100 refund back and to recieve a certificate for a hotel stay instead of the vacation and airfare.

This was over 6 months ago, and since then we have not heard back from them.

My husband and I googled MVI vacations and found out that other people had had problems with this company since to our surprise it went out of business.

I don't want that joke of a vacation, because we should have known better than to expect something for nothing. All I would like is my $100 back.

Thankfully I have kept all of the paperwork, US Postal Money Order Receipts, ect.

If anyone has any information on how to be able to retrieve our lost money that would be greatly appreciated.

Felicia
