In Oct.2005 we attended a time share presentation where we were promised to receive 3 days/2 nights vacation from Mini Vacation. In order to get the vacation we were required to mail a $50 refundable check. We did so and Mini Vacations, Inc cashed the check on 03/24/06.

The instractions on our broshure indicated that we were supposed to receive a welcome package and a conformation for the dates that we had selected. We never received any infromation in the mail except a phone call from a lady wanting to confirm that we were going to attend another presentation in Branson, Missuri on the following day!!! I told her that I don't even have a clue where Branson is and that we had never requested to be considered for this or the other two locations that she named. I told her that I wanted a refund and she advised me to write a letter stating so.

I mailed a certified letter on 06/12/06 and to this day I have not received anything in return. I was writing a complaint to the attorney general in NC when I decided to check again online and see if I can find any info about Mini Vacations and I sure did find lots of Rippoff reports. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do, because I am fired up. Thanks,

MVI couldn't have cashed your checks

From my reading of other responses Integra Marketing must have cashed your check. My money is on Integra Marketing as that was what was reported in another complaint. As far as I know MVI as well as their bank accounts closed in Feb. I have previous financial experience and I can say that a check that is written to a business cannot be cashed by an individual even if they happen to own the company. Visit Intergra Marketing's website for contact information. If you can get a copy of the front and back of the check that will give you alot of information.

MVI Could not have cashed your check. Could it be either: Market with Integra or Grand Incentives? They are scam-clones of MVI that came about as MVI died.

Krassimira;

This is very interesting that MVI cashed your check on 3/24/2006. They were out of business and had vacated their premise in early February.

Can you see who signed your check? Could it be either: Market with Integra" or "Grand Incentives? They are scam-clones of MVI that came about as MVI died. Might it be that Mike Burke or his family was still cashing checks even after their demise, this would totally be criminal intent, as there is no way you could be provided a service for your money. Can I suggest that your bring this (and a copy of your cashed check stub) to the attention of the Florida Attorney General and the Flordia Department of Agriculture (they oversee and are investigating travel fraud) ASAP. If you research back thru the posts in RipOff under Mini Vacations you will find their contact numbers.

Best to you and please post the results of your calls to the authorities on this board.
