I recommend you steer clear of M&J Jewellers in Toronto (Don Mills area)!
Jana Pokorna told me she could sell excess gold jewellery for me then came up with excuse after excuse as to why she didn't have the money. She eventually said she received payment but needed it for her rent!
I managed to get $600 from her after going into her store every week for a year but there's still at least $1000 outstanding. I tried going to Small Claims Court but I know nothing will come of that.
She also claimed to have repaired my wedding band but she didn't.
She feels no remorse or guilt.

To All Shoppers
I have know the owner of M&J Jewelry on Eglinton Street for 4 years and would like to refute the previous person's comment who suggested people avoid this shop. On the contrary, this business is a refreshing and pleasant place to do all your jewelry buying and repair work. Why on earth would you pay thousand of dollars when you can purchase high quality jewelry at this shop for a fraction of the price ... and the owner has a heart of gold. In fact she is one of the most caring and giving individuals I have ever met ... just ask the many organizations where she volunteers her extra time (food bank, community garden, Cure for Cancer, and the list goes on.
I highly recomment you visit this store on Eglinton Street and talk to the owner personally ... you won't be disappointed and you certainly won't get ripped off like this earlier person commented. If you want to enjoy the 'getting-ripped-off' experience then I might suggest do you shopping at one of the lavish jewelry chains scattered elsewhere around the city ... their names are well know.
For anyone having an issue with M&J Jewelry, may I suggest you look closely into a mirror and see the discruntled and unhappy person you must really be!
