#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sun, August 14, 2016

It is unfortunate that Mr. Glover feels this way about our company. Having been in business for over 20 years, we clearly take a lot of pride in our relationships with our valued drivers and Owner / Operators. Mr. Glover came to us with zero money and asked us to purchase a truck, which we did. He then proceeded to borrow literally thousands of dollars from us trying to keep the truck rolling. On top of that, he used his weekly cash advances to pay rent, cable and other "none trucking" related expenses. We allowed him to do so as we attempted to get him on his feet. He was fully aware of his unpaid ticket and failed to clear it up, without notifying anyone at M&M. When he was stopped at 2 am, the VP of M&M stayed on the phone relentlessly trying to find a hotel for Mr. Glover and his dog to stay in. M&M paid to have his truck towed and stored at considerable expense. The load was recovered but very late, causing problems for our customer. M&M paid for a hotel for Mr. Glover and his dog. The following day, Mr. Glover again needed money for a hotel, which the VP agreed to pay for. At this point a decision was made to terminate employment with Mr. Glover and his fuel card was blocked. Unknown to us, he had another fuel card which he proceeded to use 3 times for fuel to return to Ohio. M&M did in fact keep the $800 escrow fund to help offset the damage and repairs required to return the truck to road worthy condition. Mr. Glover still owes us money for the 3 gas stops he stole after we terminated employment and the thousands of dollars he accumulated in repairs. His truck is still in the shop being repaired. At no point have I or anyone lied or been decietful to Mr. Glover. I would be more then happy to answer any question regarding this matter and I stand behind the actions of our VP, our dispatch team and our safety team. I was personally involved and can honestly say that M&M tried extremely hard to help Mr. Glover get on his feet and acted professionally at all times.
