Frank, I'm offended! I've been a member of MM for 4 years. The moderators seemed to be friendly up until this year when I worked with a website designer that did websites for them too. The end result: I gave her money for a website that was never done, and the deadline is well-past. The moderators are supposed to "Lock" the forum thread is someone is "outed", meaning if you know the url you can still find it. All of the threads that I started about her (without even mentioning her name or numbers anywhere, like this one: http://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thread_id=462588&page=) were locked and hidden within 30 minutes of being posted! I'm now on "probation" for a WEEK for their reason: "You are on probation for the exact same offense that you were brigged for yesterday. You are not allowed to out another member on MM. Your probation was assessed as a result of the content of the post. It was not because you created a second thread before you were told not to do so. You knew better (or should have) after being brigged yesterday and released." I'm confused because one moderator says one thing, then another says the opposite, then another moderator can't make up his/her mind, etc, etc, etc. If you'd like, I can give you the whole story!

I've been a member on ModelMayhem for over a year and have found the site to be well run, fair and an advantage to my business. Aside from the occasional technical glitchs which most sites seem to suffer from these days the overall experiecne has been a positive one. Those who complain are usually the ones looking to make a quick buck and don't understand the nature of the business. Then too are the "models" who inhabit so many sites looking to make a quick buck because someone in the local bar told them they look like a model. The last and least of which are the so called "I'm a hottie and pay me to show you my breasts".....seems those are the biggest complainers when no one wants to look!
