The rep should have switched you to orders or customer service. What we generally do in these situations is replace the held orders. If quite a few are held we try and space the re-orders out by a few days as this generally doesn't trigger this saftey override.
The reason that safety trigger is there is due to so many freaking fraud orders. You wouldn't believe the gaul of some people who have no morals. It's helped stop a lot of fraud orders, and I know this from experiance of them getting held and the real person calling in saying it's not them.
I am so sorry that all the information or options were not given to you, I can only speculate as to why. I know this is being posted late, I am honestly bored right now and found SC on here and decided to answer some of the issues people are having. Even when off work I still end up deciding to work!
