Moon Costumes Sent Wrong Item: Won't refund postage. Internet Internet
On October 20, 2007, I ordered and paid for a Pink Shimmering Bob Wig. Approximately six days later, I received the wrong item, a Black Egyptian Wig. At that point it was too late to try to get the correct item before my daugher's Halloween party.
I attempted to contact the company by phone and by e-mail to let them know that I received the wrong order but I received no response. I finally went on the website again and found that the only way to return an item is to get an authorization number from the company, which I did. This company provides no way to actually speak with someone to resolve issues such as this.
I returned the black wig, with the return authorization number, and requested a full refund of the wig cost and the postage paid.
On November 19, I received a notice from paypal that I am being refunded the wig cost of $8.09. However, the postage is not being refunded. The shipping and handling cost was more than the wig, $10.49.
I find it hard to believe that I have to pay this company $10.49 in shipping costs to receive an item I did not even order. In addition, I had to spend my own money to send the wrong item back to them.
I want my postage in the amount of $10.49 refunded in full.
