Official Mortgage Assistance Group Rebuttal

#2UPDATE Employee

Fri, June 24, 2011

We are writing this official rebuttal to clarify the mission and actions of MortgageAssistance Group and its employees. We have been aware of the claims and mischaracterizations about our company and we were advised through counsel to not respond or give validity to the postings on RipoffReport.com.

Let us start off with our background and experience in the Loan ModificationIndustry. We were one of the local Pioneers of this industry back in 2007 when Home Loan Delinquencies skyrocketed in the Phoenix area. Mortgage Assistance Group has a mission to alleviate the financial burdens mortgage borrowers have undertaken during the greatest economic meltdown our nation has ever witnessed since the Great Depression.
To date, MAG has managed to follow this mission effectively and ethically. Over 300 families have been saved from foreclosure and/or experienced a drastic reduction in their mortgage payments due to the dedicated efforts of the organization. That accounts to millions of dollars in monthly mortgage payments savings and even more in local community housing burdens such as vandalism, increased taxes and the further devaluation of neighborhood values.

Due to the services we provided to the community, we earned a reputation of being one of the good guys which was doing its best to do the right thing. Before the Slander defamation issue, we had only four complaints within two years of being in business.

Unfortunately, many bad companies gained national attention and notoriety for their unscrupulous business practices. The disgruntled employees in question decided to use this fear associated with the industry and use it to destroy our credibility. They created blogs of lies and mischaracterizations about our company and its executives. Then they contacted some of our clients directly to cause panic and destroy the rapport our clients had with our organization.

This created an unforeseen chain of events which led us to downsize our company due to our Merchant Provider First Data freeze our account without warning or provocation from their
corporate office.  At the time, Merchant companies were receiving a lot of chargebacks from fraudulent companies within our industry and this led them to put any Loan Modification company nationwide into their high risk category.

MAG is formally apologizing to those who were negatively affected by these unfortunate events.

Throughout this entire debacle, MAG has handled each and every complaint and concern on a case by case basis. Some employees chose the unfortunate route to create stories about what really happened at a time when things were easily pushed out of control. Expressing opinions about what occurred or what should have occurred was ill-effective and has only led to more confusion rather than a productive positive outcome.

The company is formally requesting that any and all lingering issues, if any at all, be immediately brought to the attention of MAG directly so that they may be resolved. Let it be known that public defamation can and does have some recourse when and if a company decides to gather evidence and pursue a legal case.

As we move forward, we will be posting character references from past and current employees. We will also be providing you true actual testimonials from our clients and will give you a true view of our company and what we have accomplished for so many hard working families in need.

If you have any questions or concerns we ask that you do not get misled by these claims and you take the time to contact us in writing. We will address your complaints immediately
while we continue to pursue a mutually beneficial conclusion to your case and many of the complaints received by our organization came after the credibility and companys brand name had been tarnished.

We have created a website at www.magtruth.com where you can see all the evidence to support our claims. They will show you the truth behind our company and its commitment to the community and you may view some of our testimonials on www.magclients.com.

If you have any complaint about your service or our company we urge you to contact us directly. Even though these claims can be misleading, you can still be held accountable for placing something else on this blog that hurts the image of our company and is not correct.

Final MAG Rebuttal ******CASE CLOSED*****

MAG has a mission, and that mission is to alleviate the financial burdens mortgage borrowers have undertaken during the greatest economic meltdown our nation has seen since the great depression. To date, MAG has managed to follow this mission effectively and ethically. Over 500 families have been saved from foreclosure and/or experienced a drastic reduction in their mortgage payments due to the dedicated efforts of the organization. That accounts to millions of dollars in monthly mortgage payments savings and even more in local community housing burdens such as vandalism, increased taxes and the further devaluation of neighborhood values.

There were some unfortunate events recently that prevented current and former MAG employees from receiving their payroll checks. By no means was this a conscious choice on the behalf of MAG. The three reasons are as follows:

1, Industry Blow back: Due to the viewed risk by many credit merchants, who provide credit/debt and financial solutions for companies in the loan modification industry, many have decided to suspend and/or no longer offer services to loan modification companies.

2. Modified Pay Schedule: After we found we had make changes to our employee pay schedule in order to offset the events listed above, we immediately notified all employees about the new check disbursement schedule and pay scale adjustments so that their were no surprises. Most willingly and cordially accepted the move however others chose to make matters worse by taking this change personally.

This was obviously due to their own inability to survive through the transition and unwillingness to make a small sacrifice on behalf of the company for all of our current and future clients.

3. Lender Timeframe Due to Trial Modifications Our industry has experienced an increase of trial modifications due to the recent government programs that were passed by our countries current administration. Although this is a good thing because more clients fit the new guidelines and criteria, an unexpected consequence to this was files took longer to close and overhead costs increase as our standard fee is the lowest by both national and local comparisons. Our low pay-in-full options and affordable pay-as-you go plans were now in limbo to be redesigned. Since more new clients were coming in and current client modification files remained open, a heavy strain was placed on the administrative efforts of our negotiation department.

All three of these factors prevented MAGs employees from receiving the bi-weekly payroll checks they had come to expect from MAG for over last three consecutive years. This also prevented MAG from meeting its well known and expected customer service and turn around time levels.

Ultimately instead of penalizing the people we care about by most, our homeowners, and raising the cost of our services, MAG decided to move offices and reorganize in order to cut internal costs. This served to keep the normal business flow and control file disruption.

MAG is formally apologizing to those who were negatively affected by these unfortunate events.

Throughout this entire debacle MAG has handled each and every complaint and concern on a case by case basis.

Let it be known that public defamation can and does have some recourse when and if a company decides to gather evidence and pursue a case.

MAG has completed its transition to the new office and kept its pricing where it should be as to benefit the homeowners who need us most. If you have any questions about this article or more concerns we ask that you do the right thing and call our company directly.

***********Final Employee Support Comments***************

To whom this may concern,

My name is Jesse and I have been currently working for Mortgage Assistance Group (MAG) and have been for the last 14 months. I have seen many wonderful things happen to people who have used our services. Things that one couldn't not imagine as far as hope and happiness once they receive their most wanted modification.

I am not saying that MAG is perfect because no company is perfect out there. MAG has gone through plenty of growing pains as such any small business does during these hard economic times.

Now MAG has been able to positively impact so many lives and I feel that we slowly but surly are making a impact to bring this tough economy back on track. Don't let a few disgruntled ex-employees who couldn't make the grade sway your decision when it comes to trusting our company.

Some are using the word "Scam". No one got scammed just read the "final rebuttal" below. If their was a "scam" it would have been happening since day one....why would a company save thousands of homeowners and have hundreds of audio, video, and hand written testimonials, just to randomly commit a "scam".Take it from an employee who has been working consistently to save as many homes as possible, it feels good to know that some many people do enjoy the service we provide.

Stan Allotey Jr. or Sr. MAG , Mortgage Assistance Group Nice try!

#5Author of original report

Sun, April 11, 2010

So I believe if this isn't Stan Allotey himself it might be his Dad Stan Allotey so called Sr. posting this.  You know if you are his Dad you should be shames that your own Son is ripping employees and customers off!

The 12 news here in AZ did a story about Mortgage Assistance Group and how they haven't paid their employees and have lost a TON and I mean a Ton of customer homes!  Why you ask?  Because the CEO Stan Allotey is a Fraud a real Con Artist.  His employees were too busy trying to get their 2 month past due paychecks rather than helping work on customer mortgages.  So many customers were calling but most everyone had enough of the lies so they quit and those calls were falling on deaf ears because no one was in the offices.

Wel you might think those people don't deserve to get paid well some don't the ones that are still there.  The ones who now are part of the problem, the guy Named Jessie, Mark, Nicole, Matry and Precilla.  They are still there trying to take peoples money knowing there is no staff to work on the files once they are takin on.  They are scammers too!  Just like their Boss and friend Stan Allotey.  Oh don't me forget his girl who is part of the problem.  Her name is Denise Gomez I found out when the 7 police officers and the news was waiting for him to come out of the office.  His fiance just got a nice big ring from all the customer victim money and the money Stan Allotey wasn't paying his employees with.  The best part is she is a first grade teacher at Dysart school in AZ.  She is a con artist too!

I didn't get to see the news and poloce situation on friday april 9th but I heard it was great.  A bunch of previous employees showed up with the news and caught them there working and scamming people.  When Stan Allotey saw them I guess he ran inseide and turned off the lights and locked the doors!  Ha like that was going to work.

You may ask what about the ex employees what type of people are they, they must deserve this?  No they all got tricked they are family people, single moms and dads and even a handicapped person.  Then you have about a hundred or more reagular people that just need help not scammers!  Yeah the bottom line is Stan Allotey ripps off everyone!

In fact the handicapped guy worked there before he was handicapped and was mentioned in another post here on this site.  He wasn't treated bad until he became handicapped.  Then once he lost a leg San Allotey stopped paying him and owes him like 4,000 dollars, the poor guy said he would settle for 1,000 dollars and still no money.  The poor guy was working with a bunch of healing broken bones and one leg.  FOR FREE!!!!!!  for like 3 months!

The other employees are just as hurt I am one of the other, they are going to the FBI the AZ Attorney General and The Federal Trade Commision to get him shut down.  I am just writing this because some of the others won't.  They are scarred to lose their children or have something bad happen to them if this guy comes after them.  Two others got evicted from their homes because they were being strug along so long by Stan Allotey.  I am an employee that is about to get evicted because of this guy!

The other part is the poor customers they take any where froma thousand up to 4 thousand dollars from these people and then still have the people lose their homes!  You would think the better business bureau would know.  But no Stan Allotey I believe paid them to keep his rating up and drop complaints against him and Mortgage Assistance Group or Mortgage Relief Group whatever con name they are using now.  The ratin was and F for like two weeksna and then all of a sudden the rating  came back up to a B and the compaints weren't even on there.

The best part of this guy who is on here saying Stan Allotey Sr. and Stan Allotey Jr. if it is his Dad he is to blame for his son after all he named and raised the scumbag!  The handicapped guy even said he emailed Stan Allotey Sr. or Jr. or whateve the Dad is called and told him about all of what was going on, plus warrning him about his so called reputation and never got even a response to the email!  So it's his fault too for this reputation getting hurt!

I love how this guy wrote a book called the eye of an eagle or an eye of the eagle something like that it should have been called the eye of the devil!!!!  As who lets this stuff go on and only be worried about their own reputation!  While saying he is no was involved, yes he is he is the DAD!

These people need their money, whether they are former employees or customers who got swindled into a scam.  As of Friday channel 12 helped some employees get a little bit of their money but Stan Allotey only gave a few of them a few hundred dollars when they are each owed a few thousand for a few months of work.  In fact some of the former emplyees didn't even get any money on friday and yes some are the single parents including me and one was the one legged guy!

You know get over it and get another job,  I have gotten another job working back at a construction company just to get away from this  money stuff but this guy Stan Allotey his girl Denise and his scammer friends need to be stopped.  STAY AWAY from Stan Allotey and the companys Mortgage Assistance Group and Mortgage Relief Group!
