I too used Moving Services and my story reads just like everyone else: Paid up front, everything fine until the stuff is actually picked up and then you never hear from this company again. It has taken months to realise (with this website and all the other victims encouraging words to thank for it) that we were not going to EVER hear from Moving Services again. Thankfully we have located our goods (2 months later) (again ...thanks to the suggestions made to other people to call the FBI in Miami). Guess what? they never left their original location ! Moving Services didnt do anything at all.

As another person in this website suggests, you should try to contact Moving Services owner by email ([email protected])...I actually got a reply and it makes for an interesting read! here it is....I swear you cant make this stuff up...

Please be advised that Moving Services is currently filing for bankruptcy, No one is hiding and Moving Services has done nothing wrong.

Moving Services will research the whereabouts of your cargo and will email you all the information pertaining your cargo as soon as possible.

Please be advised that currently we do not know what effect the bankruptcy will have on your shipment.

Keep in mind that Moving Services will vigoriously

defend all aspects of the business, WE HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG.

Moving Services is 100% a legit operation.

Moving Services only issues final bills once it has documented receipts from the vendors we use.

Bills theory is wrong, and his actions have single handedly put many customers like yourself in a very hard situation, and now he is directing all the customers to our attorney. We will sort this mess out, and Moving Services will prevail.

Read your contract, it has full discloser, you are crystal clear of what the procedures are. what part of the contract you feel we did something wrong? we would love to know: Please dont let Bills assumption make up your mind.

Bills obviously prejudice to Jews. He presented that in the past and is doing so now, But thats okay. We have attorneys.

Paul-When did you receive this email? What address did it come from? I am shocked by the reference to FBI Bill being prejudiced towards Jews! I moved from NC to ISRAEL and Moving Services complicated my move. I have been completely ignored by George Evans. I have called his office nine times. I have left voive mail messages 5 times and detailed messages with his staff four times. I have not received a return phone call from Mr. Evans. If Moving Services is in bankruptcy as the letter Paul received states, there is a proceedure in each state regulating this action. Declaring bankruptcy doesn't mean you can just ignore the people you owe money to. If mr. Evans is representing Moving Services he needs to be in contact with everyone that has outstanding shipments and everyone who has claims agains Moving Services. He has a duty to respond to inquiries regarding the conditions of the bankruptcy.
