They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: The Fraud Chick Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: It's easy to see that you're disappointed about the award given to you. But your injury was bulging discs. After a certain age all of us have at least one bulging disc--nature made us that way. Another crazy biological scheme to accommodate gravity I suppose. Your attorney violated no rules except he never should have told you what to expect, meaning the $350,000. You never would have received that and he should have wrapped up your case in a month or two. Probably the only reason he promoted you going to the docs is it would increase your intake *somewhat*, which would mean more for him as well. On injuries like this they always check the meds before the incident to insure there was no prior bulging. That alone was a giveaway that the lawyer was handling it as a small claim. What most Americans don't know is that lawyers and adjustors settle these claims over the phone quickly over lunch or the phone. That $1,500 offer was standard bull that the majority of attorneys pull. They call their clients with some low-ball dollar so the final sum doesn't seem so sucky when it really is. And they ALWAYS tell their clients not to accept it--aren't they the heroes for fighting on your behalf? You are nothing more to the attorney than a quick piece of income--or a mortgage payment. Most attorneys are nothing more than greedy wretches with licenses to extort. Sorry you feel mislead. The Fraud Chick
