I took my Honda civic to them to get started, they had it for three days and told me the timeing belt was bad and it was going to be $1000 I said how could that be there is no water in the oil? they said the car needed NGK spark plugs, that auto light plugs dident work in hondas, I said ok to the plugs,the car still needed a new timeing belt, I said no way on the $1000 repair and towed the car out, they charged me $120 for the plugs? why so much? then I towed it to a new shop ...they replaced the ignition coil a total of $68.0 the car runs great and they told me the timeing belt was fine. STAY AWAY FROM MUFLER MAN IN DELTONA FLORIDA THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF TO!!!!

You are confusing what they told you im sure. Much like any other place they would have told you the work they suggest that you get completed. I know from my own experiences that if they see wear on your belt, they are going to tell you about it and suggest that you get a new one. I ignored the mechanic like we all do. It didnt fit into my internal budget so I said no. Sure enough about 5 months later my serpentine belt snapped and it snapped right were the wear was. Had I taken them up on their offer I wouldnt have spent a few hours on the side of the road, but I didnt blame them for their suggestion. They just told ME what they found. Im sure they did the same to you. They told you there was wear or damages and they could replace it for you at XXXX$. That is not a ripoff. That is not a scam. Every second you are driving your vehicle you are doing damage to it. Maybe not some mind blowing amount, but enough that it adds up over time. Brakes, engine, tires these are ALL items that are being worn down from use. Just keep in mind all of the problems they pointed out to you. You can be 100% sure that each of those items listed is going to fail on you. And when it does I certainly hope you can show the world how much of a stand up individual you are and post a correction rebuttal.
