This vehicle was a "GM certified used vehicle", with a 3 day, 150 mile satisfaction guarantee.

I had sent a fax requesting the vehicle be aligned, oil & filter changed, cleaned throughly, and a small scratch touched up before I picked it up. Nothing had been done when I arrived.

I waited while it was cleaned, and not a good job at that.

While the paperwork was being done, I mentioned to Joseph Papp, that the mileage on the odometer statement was not correct. He said it didn't matter.

Upon cleaning it myself 2 days later, I found the damaged fender. I called Pat Cerino the next day, Monday, and told him I was returning the vehicle under the terms of the "GM certified vehicle satisfaction guarantee". After many conversations, Mr. Cerino told me the dealer would do nothing to repair the fender, and I couldn't return it, because the truck had over 150 miles on it, when compaired with the odometer statement.. I realized that had the odometer statement been correct, I could have returned it. But, since the vehicle has actually 16,415 miles when I left, I was already screwed. My original invoice given when I left a deposit, has the CORRECT mileage on it. The SECOND invoice, given when I picked up the truck, has FALSE mileage on it, as well as the odometer statement.
