MWI Connections Aka Memberworks Weasel discount club from hell Giving me credits IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FASHION RECTIFYS THE DECIETFUL WAY THEY STOLE $ FROM ME Stamford Connecticut
Upon opening my most recent bank statement I was suprised to see $149.95 taken by an outfit called MWI Connections. I have never heard of nor gave them permission to draft my account. I called the 888-868-6216 phone #. All I got was some woman trying to sell me membership in this great discount club. I demanded to know how when and where they got my bank account info. She said she knew nothing about this but after about 5 calls I was told I became a member on 3/3/2003 (the charge appeared on 3/24/03). She said no other activity had taken place.
On Sat. I pulled out my old bank statements and GUESS WHAT ? They took $109 in 2002, $99 in 2001 and $89 in 2000 ! After many calls - They had my number in system so when I put the number in on call ins the phone would ring anywhere from 40 to 150 times b4 I got an answer. This woman said I would get a Credit for 149.95 and the other charges would be investigated. It looks like i have gotten a Cr. for $150. Giving me credits IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FASHION RECTIFYS THE DECIETFUL WAY THEY STOLE $ FROM ME !!!
