I noticed that I have been billed $96 on my checking account from this company. I have no idea who they are, but I know I didn't authorize them to do this.

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

I have handeled many calls with many angery people and believe me i understand. The ting i would suggest is if you see you have an unauthorized charges from this company and you call them to cancel with in a few days CALL BACK and make sure that you were really cancelled from the program. Also when you call them the first time they should answer the phone and tell you their name then at the end of the call the will tell you their id number or what they might call their confermation # ( If they dont give any type of # at the end of the call make sure you ask them what it is because they have to give it to you). If for some reason when you call to check and see if you have been cancelled and it showed you were not , ask to speak to the manager or supervisor and let them know the name of the person and the name. All i know is that when i worked there this past summer that for so many calls came in we had to have more retains (People who dont want to cancel their "membership" in the program) than we hadcancellations. Well if we did not have more retains we got in trouble or they had this point system where we if we were not signed into our phones on the minute like if we were coming back from break our call stats were not perfect we would loose points. Well we only had 20 points to keep for i think 3. if you lost them you would be fired. I personally know how hard it is to keep points when it came to keeping callers who are mad because the company has taken anywhere from 95 to almost $200 of their money for something they never knew they had. Ok to get to the point already not everyone did and when in training we were not told to do this, but i di know it was done. What would happen is a representitive would be behinde on keeping their retains so when some callers would call in and want to be cancelled and their money given back the rep might tell them they were cancelled and they would recieve a refund but in the computer they might write that customer as a retain. This would mean that you would still be in the program and you would still be charged for a membership that you "cancelled". So say you were put in one that charged you one big fee at the end of the year and you call and cancel but the rep dosnt end up cancelling you then at the end of that year you will again see this hundred and something dollars taken again. This really messes peoples credit up. Also IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that if you have been charged and want to be refunded be sure to make it clear that not only do you want to cancel but you also want your money back. This is because when we were in training they told us that if the customer calls to be cancelled from the program that regardless if they have been charged or not the only time we are to refund money is if the customer says they want their money back. I have taken my share of calls where my computer would show that the caller had been charged the membership fee already and because they never asked for a refund they ended up i would say giving their money to us. And i would be careful when ordering from the infomercials because most of the time people were put into our programs through them. When you call them they most of the time will have how you were put into the program. Sorry this was so long i hope it may hep in the future. There are a few little things i will get back to you guys later. P.S. I quite that place because i got tired of working at a place that scammed people. Plus it was not alot of fun talking to angery people all day.
