I went to the bank to make a deposit and noticed on my receipt that my account was overdrawn. I checked my account on line and saw a debit for $99.95 by MWI*Essentials. There was a 1-800 number listed next to the name MWI*Essentials, which I telephoned immediately.
I asked the "customer service" rep what the company was and she told me it was something to do with $1000 in grocery coupons. I informed her that I had not ordered such a thing and she told me that she would get my "packet" in the mail to me immediately. I told her I did not want the packet and that I wanted a $99.95 refund, including the $22.00 overdraft charge that was incurred.
She wasn't helpful with that at all and I have now contacted my bank and filed a dispute. Now, because of this "company's" antics, I am forced to close my card for fear that they will try something again. NOT GOOD!!
