First off, they (myinfo1.com) hide their business address when you do a WhoIs look up. That's the first tip off. They do not list a street address, a city, or a state (let alone a country). They hide behind a Domain Privacy Service on 70 Blanchard Road in Burlington, Massachusetts, zip 01803.

They were created Sept. 06, 2012, with the sole aim to fleece people, you and I.

They get you into the website, myinfo1.com, tell you that you're so lucky, it will only cost you $1.00 to begin, "Agree?"

Of course you do.

At that moment you're forwarded to a DIFFERENT website, backgroundchecks.us, and in the process you are charged $19.95, not ONCE but for an indeterminate amount of months.

Once you notice this, you go to myinfo1.com to find contact info. There isn't any. Instead you get a chat dialog for "live help", a person reding off a script who tells you that you did agree to sign up to be billed monthly for $19.95 for your one single report, not the $1.00 you agreed to.

There is NO option on the myinfo1.com website to opt out, yoiu are baited with the $1.00 offer, and switched to a $19.95 offer.

Crooked as can be.

They do tell you in the chat, after you tell them you want this stopped and refunded, that FURTHER recurring charges will be cancelled, but nothing about the initial $19.95 you were fraudulently charged.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!! It is a bait and switch scam.
