I received this letter in the mail today 3/4/09 and it seemed too good to be true.....I'm really glad that I did a little research before I accepted. The letter states that you applied for a secret shoppers position on thejobplanet.com and that you have been accepted to join in.

I did not call the number due to the various other posts that I have seen for this fraud.
The check sent to me was Drawn from: Woodforest National Bank the bank
rt # 113008465
phone # 888-262-0332 (did not call this number to check)
check made out for: $3875.00
cashier's check
Job: cash check for $3875.00
Salary for assn. 200.00
Walmart purchase 40.00
Money Gram 3560.00
svc. fee +/- 75.00
I wanted to place this here in the hopes that no-one falls for this scam.
My letter was received 3/4/09
Check dated 2/18/09
Bank is in Texas

The envelope had NO RETURN ADDRESS

From what I understand is that some have cashed this check. The check bounces and you are left liable to your bank for the money. I hope that this catches someone before they make an expensive mistake. Thanks
