NADN National Audit Defense network Rip-off Sham does not back up their promises return calls or give you your money back Las Vegas Nevada
I signed up with them due to the offers they made to help small businesses with tax breaks. The material doesn't say much - just reiderates what the radio commerical says. The program was 4 years for the price of 2 ($1419.00)- with a 90 cancelation program.
I sent them my last three years taxes for evaluation and additional refunds. A dozen phone calls later, I'm told there are no refunds to be found. Interesting enough. But when time continues and they are not returning my calls, or following up with any of the other promises, I decided to stop in personally while in Vegas and cancel the program.
The salesman convinced me I WAS in the wrong program - made me a dozen more promises. And admittedly, convinced me(sap that I am) to join two of the handicap websites (for $2500.00 each) - that would reward me with savings of $5000.00 (per site) per year in tax write-offs. $10,000.00 sure sounds good.
Also at that time, I tried to cancel their prepaid legal service. The salesman not only promised to cancel the legal service, but follow up with us with more information within the next month. From that day forward Mike Knodel no longer exsisted.
At the end of that month, with no response at all from NADN, I started calling. To date, I've called nearly three dozen times. I've sent a fax (per instructions) telling them to cancel the program. Then I was told to send a certified letter. Then a second one.
Everytime I've called, I've been told something different. That the credits for the websites were credited back, or reversed. Now I'm told they mailed out the refund for one site, and reversed charges on the second. I've yet to see ANY money.
Two weeks ago (this has been on going since June) I'm told the Elite Program (I signed on for 9/4/02) is non-cancelable/non-refundable. That the only way I can get my money back is if they find me NO refunds during the next two years. They also told me that the prepaid legal service WAS canceled. November - I was charged again for this service.
This is a total sham. I thought I was smart going there and actually visiting with them in person. But once they have your money - they are done working with you. They tell me they don't have my phone numbers. I leave two phone numbers everytime I call there. They read my phone numbers back to me - wrong. They are making NO effort.
I let them play me for a fool. This is an expensive lesson to learn. Between the handicap websites, the prepaid legal service and the membership - they've (I let them) chumped me for over $6,500.00.
LEARN FROM ME - PLEASE do not under any circumstances sign up with or send any money to NADN.
