Left message for John Howe, we never received our paperwork for our 2003 tax preparation.

February 17th, 2004

Tuesday

Received a call from Tina Schulty from the Tax & Technical Dept., she is stating that we did not pay for two years of tax preparation.

Tina offered to pay for both personal taxes to be done, us paying for the corporate taxes or vise versa. She took my work number down to have someone from Customer Service call me the next day.

February 18th, 2004

Wednesday

I received a call from Doug in customer service, he provide me with a number to call back 877-469-3477 to press option 3. I called this number back at 3pm and there is no option 3, I called back again, did not push this option and ended up with the Integrity Dept. She did not know what I was talking about and could not reach anyone in CS. I told her I would call back tomorrow.

Suing also spoke with someone not realizing that I was already handling this situation. It is in review and they will get back to us in 3-5 business days.

I spoke with Chris in customer service, it is in review and he can not do anything, we need to wait until it comes back from review.

I called back to double check that there was even a review dept. (NO, there is not. When I called on 2-25 and spoke with Sandy she told me that she was the one who conducted our investigation- she is in CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I spoke with Sandy, she is actually the one that did our investigation. I asked to speak with a manager, she stated that she made notes in the system and that she is forwarding this on to her manager- Mr. Chris Kotner.

I brought the following to her attention and she agreed.

oWhy doesn't NADN put anything in writing?

It puts clients in a conflict with them, which is a conflict of interested in what it is that they are selling to me- fighting the IRS!!!!!!!!!

oI know that I did not misunderstand what I was sold there are over 130 complaints on line (that I even found) with the same integrity issues lies.

Why don't they have external email so that they can put all of this in writing because they lie and conducting business verbal is the only way to keep the lies in propetual motion.

Left voice message for Chris at 2:15pm (p.t.) requesting that he call me back within 24 hours, and that I had several issues to discuss with him, including the investigation outcome.

Tuesday

Left a very assertive vm for Chris at 12:00 noon today. Stating that I had just called an acted as if I was interested in tax service and got pretty much the same details as the year that I had purchased the promotion see below for all the details. And that if I did not have some resolution to this that I was going to go straight up the food chain!

2:15pm- called Tina Shulty in Tax & Technical and requesting that she call me and that I had called in and got the same details as the previous promotion with the exception of a few details.

I called in to customer service and stated that I wanted information, here is what I got:

oSpoke with Jonathan McHenry and here is what he told me:

I stated that I had a rental/retail skate and bike business, my name is Cheryl, I make 100k a year and drive 30k miles a year. He asks me for my phone number and I decline.

He asked me if I owed at the end of the 2002 or received I received 6k on my return (He did not know that NADN did my taxes that's a whole other issue!)

-He then stated that I left appx 14k on the table with the IRS! Now he wants to transfer me to someone in technical who will talk to me about the program.

He starts out by telling me that I should incorporate but we will get back to that- I never told him I wasn't!

CHARGES: Based on 2 personal taxes and 1 corporation

First comment was: you should think about a NV corp. But we can get back to that! Never even asked me if I already was or not.

PROMOTIONAL OFFER:

$1599.00 for corporate membership

o To include corporate tax preparation and one personal for 1 year + 1 year for free.

o does that 1 year for free include tax preparation for the 2nd year? I asked.

o Your good Cheryl: I will have to get it approved by my manager but I am sure it will not be a problem!

o Year 3 will be half price grandfathered in $800.00 for 1 corporate and 1 personal.

o The additional personal tax preparation for your partner will be $350.00 for the first year and the second year.

- The bottom line is this: the above promotion is exactly what I purchased last year FOR 2 YEARS OF TAX PREPARATION- THE ONLY THING DIFFERENT IS THE COST WHICH IS NOT THAT FAR OFF!!!!!!!!!

Since I have not heard back from Tina Schulty or from Chris Conter, I called Robert Stovall directly- I did not provide my last name, my client number or anyone's name who I have been in contact with so that he did not go to them first. I do not trust them at this point.

Monday

Still have not heard back from Chris Cotner, Tina Schulty or Robert Stovall, therefore I called in again for Robert- left another voice message at 10:54am.

As of 4:50pm, I spoke with Joel again. He was trying to convince me that all transactions are phone recorded, that an email is generate and that there is a 30 day guarantee, I asked him who did all this, he stated the verification dept. I asked him to transfer me to the verification dept, upon doing so I spoke with Angel in the verification dept. and he told me that everything is phone recorded for verification of promotion that I purchase and that there is a 30 guarantee. I asked him WHY I couldn't get it in writing up front and he could not answer.

This is the same horseshit that I was told last year, we have it in our system for verification and there aren't any problems. Come to think of it, last year they tried to tell me that I didn't purchase the tax preparation!

We too we suckered into there Income Tax service, after reading the horror stories hear, we emailed them to not process our 2003 return and that since we had to sign it they couldn't file it; therefore send it back. Last week we got a package from NADN, it was our 2003 tax return, ready to be filed. I contacted a CPA friend and ask him to review the return and then redo it taking NADN's name off as tax preparer. I encourage anyone who has submitted your 2003 return to them, give it to a CPA for review and get NADN's name off it. NADN is probably a RED FLAG to the IRS.

John Howe called back, I expressed my situation with him. He will speak directly with the Owners of NADN's son who now oversees the customer service dept. He will be seeing him tonight, I will have him call you directly after I express to him your issue. March 10th, 2004 Wednesday John called late in the day and had expressed that he wanted to discuss with me my report on RIP-OFF REPORT. I returned his call at 7:30pm when I picked up the message March 11th, 2004 Thursday Left message for John again around 11:30am. Told him I was going to lunch and will call him again when I return. John called back. They are sending us our paperwork for the taxes March 12th, 2004 Friday The paperwork came in an overnight package. o I will update my notes based on how things are dealt with from here.
