Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This business has high turnover, based on my experience. The "service writer" initials B.T. is no longer there who took my initial service order, the mechanic i later found out was new cut wires to a simple headlight repair and admitted mistake. this location has had three Service Managers in the last 12 months for one position. The culture is unethical and seedy.

the issue-

brought vehicle in for replacement of headlight lamp, inexperienced tech cut wires, admitted mistake, covered up mistake by saying head to special order a new bulb. met with service manager upon my second of incident who brought the mechanic in his office with me and the inexperienced employee admitted mistake and admitted to messing with fuses as a guessing game.

brought the vehicle back for the third time, each time with a new service manager at this point and new service writer and new mechanics because all have quit or have been fired, a bad sign of bad culture.

i explained each time that prior to coming in i never had the car battery die until the initial repair work was done.  on the third visit, this occasion they fixed the blinker, which they admitted they do not know why the previous tech said lied and said they had to order a blinker, they just had to play with the fuses and assured me they are cleaning up their business practices. I drove off the lot, within 10 mins, first use of blinker it failed on the one side, brought it back in for them to tell me it was a bent fuse /wire (caused by their tech) caused the blinker to go out again and they claimed it was resolved.

Drove off the lot AGAIN and within 10 mins of turning on the blinker the other side blinker stopped working. They go, "its an Easy Fix" but they still haven't fixed after three times.

in addition to this The battery still have a slow draw of pulling the power to die. the power is good had it tested.

They caused more problems of a good battery that has now has a  "draw" and blinkers going out. they want me to pay for them to diagnose and repair the battery draw THEY caused.

No accountability. Service Tech Jason boldly called didn't care to resolve the problems they caused at there cost. Service Manager refused to return calls.

The service manager told me I should get a new vehicle, even though they caused the problems.

BEWARE. Napleton Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram are uneducated, inexperienced, and unethical. DO NOT TRUST THEM

will continue to push complaint and consider filing for civil litigation and complaint with DBPR

Pete Grinnell should be ashamed

Not all dealerships are bad

I just want to say not all dealerships are bad and some do care about you. I have taken my car in for service several times and have never been ripped off. They have had the same service writers and managers for several years as well as the same mechanics. Now it is a Cadillac dealership and mayve that's why but still not all of them are out to screw you.

Why are you even taking your car to a dealer for service? Your description of this place is perfect and is very typical of most dealer service departments. They could care less about you, price gouge you, have poor quality people working there and the fraud/deception practiced on the sales floor has flowed into the service department like raw sewage on a downhill street. Not only that, this chain is WELL KNOWN for it con-games and bogus, add-on, phoney fees. Please...don't ever, ever, ever, ever, ever again use a dealer service department unless it is work covered by warranty. Instead, find and form a relationship with an excellent independent shop. This is NOT Walmart, a tire store, a shop chain or some guy working out of a storage shed. A great independent shop is usually owned by an older mechanic and is staffed with qualified and very experienced mechanics. An independent shop owner cares about you, won't price gouge you and won't play games with you like they do at a dealership. Ask around and find one. There's an excellent guy who does a Saturday radio program who might be your choice. For the sake of your finances, never, ever go to any dealership for shop work, ok? Napleton is very well known among consumer organizations, the legal profession and other the car business as nothing more than a slimeball organization where the words "integrity" and "honesty" are NOT part of their vocabulary!
