I applied for a job on Careerbuilder for an ENTRY Level Pharmaceutical Sales position. I was contacted by a headhunter from www.rxrepstaffing.com. They said they were very interested in working with me and said they wanted to set up an interview as soon as I took the NAPSRX Certification. They said once I took it they would have an interview set up for me. I rushed the book and spent $268 to complete the test in two days. After I passed the test I update my resume and sent it to [email protected]   - Gloria Price.

Several weeks passed with no response. I then googled Gloria's e-mail address. Rx Staffing has 49 job postings with all the same posts in every state. See link: http://www.careerbuilder.com/Jobs/Company/CHT49J62T3GMWWYDC8P/RX-Staffing-Jobs/?IPath=JEB. I then went to their webpage at www.rxrepstaffing.com and they didn't even show ANY job postings.

I then realized I had been SCAMED. RxRepStaffing is fake and they tell you that you have to take the test at NAPSRXonline.org to get an interview. After you take it you will never hear from them. I asked to cancel my membership and they refused.

If you have been a victim of this scam contact your credit card company. This is a well known scam and my credit card company issued me a 100% refund because this company refused to issue me a credit.

Want even further proof? The NAPSRx cerftification is not accredited. Verify this yourself at the U.S. Department of Education website: http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx

Don't be a victim of this scam. If you already have been contact your credit card company and dispute the charge.

I think it is important to post a response here per Ms. Shelly’s from Lexington, KY review.   First, the NAPSRX program is available at over 300 major universities and colleges.  You can visit the link below for more details.   These colleges have offered our vocational pharmaceutical sales training program for over seven years.   You can visit the link below to find colleges nearest you ed2go.com/career/training-programs/pharmaceutical-sales-training?Category=healthcare-fitness   The CNPR literally successfully helps thousands every year with their pursuit of a pharmaceutical sales career.

As far as the reference to the recruiters, any candidate must understand that recruiters look for either experienced pharmaceutical sales reps or entry level reps that have been trained in the industry.   We do not recommend just using one recruiter.  Recruiters work on behalf of the pharmaceutical company and are paid by them.    As a candidate your skills will hopefully make the recruiter a fee from that company.   This person above appears to live in Lexington, Ky so if a job the recruiter is working on gets filled in that particular geographic territory; then the recruiter will have nothing for them and will probably cease working with that candidate until something opens up again in that territory.  We encourage anyone who gets certified to utilize several recruiters and to more importantly send their own resume directly to the pharmaceutical companies themselves.   We suggest to contact over 100 pharmaceutical companies once a person completes the industry vocational pharmaceutical sales training.

The NAPSRX program is certainly the most recognized and respected pharmaceutical sales training in the United States.    The U.S. Department of Education recognizes the ability of the program to help individuals.   Please see the link for verification:  education-portal.com/articles/Schools_for_Aspiring_Pharmaceutical_Sales_Representatives_How_to_Choose.html

Our staff is always looking to help our students and graduates.   If anyone ever has a problem we encourage them to call and talk to one of our customer services reps.   On our website we have a toll free number and customer support reps are there from 9am to 5pm eastern to take calls.  (Unfortunately, this blog does not allow us to post our phone #).   We are very proud to have a zero complaint record with the BBB.

Anyone is also free to contact me directly with any questions.

Sincerely,

Steven Neece
