This letter by the anonymous is a malicious and dangerous attack on a school that has excelled for over 10 years, helping hundreds of women and men to achieve their goals of becoming successful skin care professionals and medical assistants. Since all of our graduates are successful and are respected professionals, who are happy about their skills and training they have received, this letter can not be written by one of them.

Because none of the things mentioned in the report make sense, we assume it is one of our competitors using a well-known tactic to damage our reputation. Below we have addressed each of the baseless accusations:

First of all, we unequivocally follow the rules set by the Department of Professional & Financial Regulations. We are licensed and approved by a number of both State and Federal agencies, which confirm that we operate according to the rules. We have consistently maintained A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.

There is nothing “alleged” about Dr. Doran being a doctor in Russia. She has verified educational credentials. She doesn’t practice medicine in the United States but she is an honorary member of the Dermatological Society. She has dedicated herself to her Academy, and increasing the quality of skin care education.

Our Academy takes pride in providing high quality hands-on training. We DO HAVE a 100% graduation rate! We have a 100% exam passing rate! We have high attendance rate for theory and practice classes, as well!

We believe that Brazilian waxing cannot be learned by watching a tape. The students practice on each other,  that means that they have to be models, as well. However, the atmosphere is strictly professional. Additionally, we accommodate students who have modesty concerns or medical issues.

Our Academy not only requires that the students carefully read their agreement before signing – they receive a copy for their records. All of the Academy's rules are clearly outlined and written in an easy-to-understand language; all of the regulations are according IDFPR and IBHE to make sure that everyone in class benefits from their education. We treat all students with equal respect.

Sanitation and disinfection are incredibly important for skin care professionals and Medical Assistants! Students are required to be trained to clean their working environment; the same way estheticians and MAs have to clean working places. It is imperative that any professional know how to setup and clean their station – otherwise it could create dangerous sanitary conditions for the clients and patients!

We do NOT share our students’ personal information and do everything to prevent gossip and misunderstanding between the students.

We are a small, elite school and our class sizes are limited, which means that our students enjoy a lot of personalized attention from the instructors. All our instructors are consummate professionals, and have extensive knowledge of their field. We have precise start dates for the new groups. We are proud of the fact that our graduates have a lot of success.

As far as the student clinic goes – there is a very simple and objective process. Before students are allowed to work on clients, they have to pass practical examination to show that they have reached the necessary advanced level. This means that the students are ready and comfortable to work with clients (under the supervision of instructors). And our clients know that they can expect highly trained estheticians working on them with very effective results.
