Ref. Failure to return refund after contract cancellation
I purchased a "Key/Remote Replacement Plan" via a dealership. The plan was cancelled but no refunded was provided.
On July 14, 2015, at the assistance of the dealership finance representative, I obtained a Key/Remote Replacement Plan (plan) with the understanding that if said plan was cancelled within 30 days a full refund ($399) would be provided.
On about August 1, 2015 (less than 30 calendar days of the contracted agreement and pursuant to applicable Maryland law), I cancelled the plan by sending a cancellation letter to the business (National Motor Club, LLC.). Unfortunately, as of this writing, two years later, the company has refused to cancel the agreement and provide a refund.
The contract number is K2187, and the purchase was facilitated by and through Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM [of] Parkville: 9219 Harford Road Baltimore, MD 21234; 877-568-7258.
The practice of the involved company is deceptive, as I cannot obtain any resolution to this problem. I further believe that the dealership is complicit in this illicit action as the dealership directly benefited financially all while knowing that I would not have been readily able to obtain a refund from Nation Motor Club, LLC.
