Just a sidenote to all this frustration (and anger) we who purchased web sites through NADN are experiencing, (and all the harrassing that has followed this "investment")... I wrote this original complaint, and now have an update. Today (April 23, 2004), another slick salesman from NADN called me (even after I had left strict instructions with the last one for NO ONE to call me any more and to put me on their "no call" list). This one tried to sell me yet another marketing package for the malls I have purchased ($2000 hit generator that will get me first on google and several other search engines, he said, and turn me a BIG profit) so that the IRS would not think I was just after this mall as a tax writeoff!!! To make matters worse, he called me at WORK, so I certainly didn't wish to go into the whole thing over the phone with co-workers around. I left my work number with the tax preparer (they still have my 2003 taxes) in case there were questions, but definitely not for the sales department! I really thought this group was through with me (and through trying to sell this stuff). They are not. And they are as hard-sell (almost to name calling if you don't want to talk to them about any of this or if you say you will not buy anything more from them) as they ever were. Maybe they need more of our money for their legal defenses! I was more or less told "OK. If you won't buy, you can kills your tax deductions goodbye, because you will look like you bought this for a deduction only!" (I already kissed my deductions--and all my money--goodbye!) Talk about fear mongers! I did contact the office of Evan Davis to cooperate with their investigation, and they returned my call and asked me to tell them a good time for us to talk. I left another message, but have not yet heard back, as the assistant was going to be out of town until Monday. I am so MORTIFIED that I got taken by this group. I visited the company and met many of them before I became involved. I've always been so cautious and prided myself on sniffing out a scam. Guess my sniffer got clogged, big time!

Jean: I am the Department of Justice attorney who filed the recent lawsuit against NADN. I may want to use you as a witness in our case, based on a few things that you said. Please contact me at [email protected]. For whomever else is reading this message, if they wish to send me a detailed e-mail describing the tax-related promises and statements from NADN or Success Matrix Group, I will put the description in the file and contact you if I need an additional witness. I anticipate receiving many e-mails, so please do not expect to receive a response to your message. I am working exclusively on the tax case against NADN and the associated persons. If you have questions about your own tax situation, please contact the IRS at 1-866-775-7474. The IRS also should add information to its website soon about NADN and Oryan. If you have questions about refunds, please contact the US Bankruptcy Court in Las Vegas and/or the FTC and/or the Nevada Attorney General's office. Thank you,
Dax

Same thing happened to me. I fell for the $1500 makerting plan. I was flat out lied to about it, promising me it would generate funds for my business and help take down my promissory note. It in turn was only a 20 odd page booklet with tips on how to market my business. I called and complained and tried to get my money back. They agree to give my money back but after trying to get the 1500 dollars back after 9 months I gave up. A representive from NADN called and told me that if I didn't keep the business plan that the IRS has good reasoning to audit me. So I caved in because I was tired of dealing with them. I too wish I would had done more research on this company. I just recently signed up for my 4 mall....big mistake after ready everyone replies to this company.

I just wanted to alleviate your concerns about the $2500 site balance you mentioned. (from your post) "Also, did anyone else know about the $2500 Mall set-up fee that can't be clicked away? THAT must be paid by CASH or SALES through the mall, not clicks, and is in addition to the main purchase price of the mall (only about 1% of what you or your customers might buy gets credited toward that note--I've paid 6 cents on it!) I was just told of this second "set up" note on each mall by another telemarketer who is trying to sell marketing for Mall for All sites. I looked on my note. It is there under the "site balance" tab. I never even KNEW about it. I assumed the $2500 charge was what I had already paid up front!" This isn't actually money to HAVE to pay off. Oryan Management gets 10% of any sales from your website "up to" a maximum of $2500 in 8 years. You don't owe it, its just the maximum commisions they are allow to take off of your site sales. (Per converstion with people at Oryan Management) At least you can relax about that issue. Also the "sponsered" clicks will pay off the interest that accrues also. Hope this helps you feel a small bit better.
