Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On November 19, 2003, I was contacted by a representative (Mark Bausch) of NADN. He was selling a program called Mall-for-All where I would pay to have a web page created and in return would receive a tax refund of $10,475 for being a disability accessible business. He told me that I needed to give $3,650 to NADN in order to atart the process. He told me sevearl things that I later found out to be wrong.

First, I was told that if my website did not generate enough funds to pay off the remaining balance of the cost of the site, I could "give" the website back to the parent company.

Second, he told me that everytime someone entered my website, I would have $2 donated to pay off my balance.

Third, and most importantly, I was told that I could wait until I received the details of the program in the mail before I made up my mind. He said that I could cancel at anytime up until I signed the promissory note.

Additionally, he failed to inform me that there is a 6% APR on any unpaid balance for the website, and that I would have to pay the parent company up to $2,500 + 6% APR on that for commission. When I found out the "truth" and was NOT happy about it, I called to cancel the Mall-for-all program, on Dec. 10 2003.

When I tried to cancel the program the same person (Mark Bausch) told me that I only had 72 hrs to cancel!! I subsequently was directed to the Client Resolution Dept. and its manager, Brett Shafer. I sent a fax to Bret Shafer stating my situation, that I was deceived, and that I no longer wished to be a part of this program or NADN. He also told me that I only had 72 hrs to cancel, but when I told him that I was never informed of this, he said too bad!

He was not the slightest bit interested in the fact that I was lied to by a NADN representative. I subsequently got Mr. Shafer to listen to my verification tape that was recorded when I agreed to try the Mall-for-All program. He said that if the was "any" indication that I was given a longer refund period, that he would process my refund.

He did listen to my tape where I said that I agreed to "try" the program, not "buy" the program, and that I was informed of a 30 day cancellation period. However, even when hearing this on a tape, and knowing that I cancelled well within the 30 day period, he still refused to give me my refund.

In the meantime, I had also sent a fax to the head of the Customer Service Dept., Chris Cotner, on Dec. 22, 2003 detailing my situation and my inability to get any help. I also called 4 times requesting that he get back in touch with me. He has still not contacted me concerning this matter.

I am so very disappointed, angry, an fed-up with NADN and their lack of concern for their customers. I was lied to, cheated of hard-earned money, and then told "too bad"!!!
