Complaint Review: NATIONAL AUDIT DEFENSE NETWORK - Las Vegas Nevada

I was sent a free package called 101 tips in May 2002. I obtained this tape through an internet group promoting free things. I really wish I could remember which one. I will however be writing all of them. I had several phone calls asking if I had listened to the tape. I said yes to all of them and they wanted to sell me a $30. a month tax package that would help us stay on top of our tax breaks. After looking at their website and material we decided to try their free trial.

I was still receiving phone calls. Typically there were three calls. 1. asking if I had reviewed material and listened to tape. Answer: Yes I have and I have and I am now a member, why are you still calling me? Reply: We are in a huge building the size of a city block and our departments must not be communicating well. The last time I recieved the call last week (friday the 11th) I asked if it was listed on the computer how many times they had called me with the same call.

He told me he did not have a computer, all he had was a piece of paper with my name and phone number. I called customer service and asked that they remove my name off these lists, They said of course they would list it on my computer file. I told her what the guy had said about the paper and that really upset her. She went on hold and I bet the guy got fired for revealing their true situation.

Phone call number 2: They know I have signed up and want to know my financial information so they can tell us how much they can save us. I have had this phone call approx. 3-4 times. Again I asked whether they recorded my answers the first 2 times they had called, I was not giving the information again. The salesman told me In August that they needed my returns so they could show me how to save money. I sent these and they recieved them Sept 17, 2002. I have waited four weeks for their phone call about my returns but they don't want to talk about that they simply have their routine questions like a bad recording.

Phone call number 3: I believe we recieved this phone call twice, one of the calls today. This phone call is to sell me on their company so that we could have a tax break. My husband told them no two weeks ago and they called again today. I have been on the phone since Friday trying to get some answers from them so I could decide whether to cancel or not. When they called this time I told him I would not talk to him unless he had results on my review. He could not help me.

Today I called and canceled but after reading these reviews I realize that I will have to call my bank in the morning and cancel any transactions coming through from them. Thank God it was only $30. That is a lot of money to us but it is not the thousands that everyone else has spent.

The item they sent me in the mail was free but those who paid for an item and did not get it or were frauded that way may be able to claim mail fraud. The post office is pretty nasty to deal with if you are doing mail order fraud. Just a thought.

Has anyone had problems with identity theft that could be traced to this company? That is a buzzword that might get attention. Think about it, they are not using our returns to give us tax information, are they using it for identity theft?

I will also be writing this on planetfeedback.com and sending it to my senators etc. You can also email your short story and this site to everyone you know and ask them to pass it on. If we cannot help ourselves perhaps we can help others. I will be going to a couple of internet hoax sites and ask them to check it out and post it. You also need to send this site and information to the place that these people bought advertising. If we can shut down their advertising we can shut them down.
