National Audit Defense Network, NADN rip-off, never providing legal defense or advice not returning any calls Las Vegas Nevada
My wife and I hired NADN to help us with an upcoming audit. They charged us $450 to join and an additional $350 for help with our pre-existing tax problem. They sounded very believable and promised to be there every step of the way (as they put it, "We are the coach calling the plays, you are the quarterback executing them").
Once we paid the money, no one called us. We called them over twenty times, but receieved only two return calls. They initially promised to represent us and to also help us file all paper work, but never did (our agent was Bob Cooper). The voice mail of the person on our case was so full, we couldn't even leave a message at one point.
We went to the audit alone, without advice, with an ammendment someone else helped us fill out, and without so much as a phone call from NADN wishing us good luck. They never helped us at all. The only wisdom they gave us was to gather our receipts, which even the audit letter from the IRS told us to do!
I called NADN and asked for a refund; they won't give me one because Mr.Cooper filled out a computer note saying my case was so easy that we didn't need help, so NADN is happy to take my money to give me legal advise but not even return my call to answer questions or give me a refund once they deem me as not needing their services, which they never even provided.
Please take my advice; it is easier and cheaper to hire a tax attorney in your town than to use NADN. They are truly a rip-off; please don't be taken advantage of also. Additonally, be wary of their "computer website" scam (any NADN member will no what this is). It is a sham.
