We went to NIRVC in Lewisville, TX to buy our fifth, and probably last, motor home. We have been full timing for most of the last 20 years. We found the 2012 Newmar Ventanna LE 3862 online and drove there from Missouri to buy it. We were told it was in "excellent condition". When we go there it was filthy inside and out.

Promises were made to clean it inside and out that were not honored, cleaning was minimal. We paid for four major add-on accessories to be added, a residential fridge, satellite dish, washer dryer and a propane stove/oven. We spent the next two weeks waiting for a myriad of repairs that were needed, and for the add-ons to be installed.

We were continually assured all would be taken care of. After two weeks, some of it in an expensive motel, we had to leave. Three of the add-ons were not working yet, and there were a total of 17 other repair issues. Those were finished by another dealer, near our home, but only after a total of 4 weeks in repair. This motor home should never have been sold by this dealer.

Almost all their service work had to be repaired or redone. While they paid for most of the repairs, we paid for $800 they didn't cover. The NIRVC General Manager did not have the courtesy to answer our letter asking for a full refund. Newmar has an excellent name, and we have owned two others. This coach was simply not maintained and NIRVC did not properly check it out beforehand, and did not repair it as they should have. Do not use this dealer.

After reporting National Indoor RV Center in Lewisville, TX to the Better Business Bureau they immediately responded with a buyout offer that we accepted.

We got our RV investment back including some add ons after the sale, however we did not recover sales tax. We consider this complaint resolved satisfactorily.
