National Platinum ripoff for fraudulent billing Carson City Nevada
As I answered an E-mail for a payday loan I encountered this online credit card at the end of the application. I was asked if I wanted information on the credit card and checked NO. When I clicked submit the page was not available. I tried again later to submit the payday loan application again checking NO to the credit card offer and r4eceived the same message.
I started to wonder if there was a payday loan program at all. I waited and received no E-mails from the payday loan company for two weeks. All of a sudden my account had a charge of $49.95 from National Platinum!! Naturally I called the 800 number right away to see what was going on. They say that I applied for the card and gave them my bank information, I contested that I gave my bank information to a payday loan company and had checked NO to their offer. They said they are merely a call center for several companies and can issue no refunds. I got National Platinums real address and have written them a lengthy letter and am hopeing to hear back someday soon.
I have small children and am in a tight spot financially right now, hence the payday loan process, $49.95 may not seem like an awful lot to some but it is to me and I know to others also. I am saddened at the lack of responsibility these companies take for charging accounts that they were not given access to.
They "feed" off of the other companies, ligit or not, and offer no resoulution to the fraud charges. I am glad I can let others know so they do not go through the hardship they have put me through. Thank You for listening....
