A return mailer card was enclosed in an official looking 5 1/2 x 7 1/2" envelope addressed to my totally disabled relative for which I have her power of attorney.   Below is the content of the card:

"Proposed cuts to existing government programs include a significant reduction in the federal medicare program, which may result in an increase in premiums and fees that you must pay...and a decrease in some benefits."

The card continues to instruct the addressee to return the postage paid card today with no cost or obligation.  "Also, designed for limited income families or fixed income seniors, a plan is available to help pay any final expense debts that social security does not pay."

There is a place for signature, age, spouses name, area code and phone number.  At the very bottom the statement, "You may be contacted by a licensed insurance agent.

I did a google search today on the company name and address and a link to Ripoff Report showed where this company's address had previously been reported.
