I started receiving mutliple magazines which I'd never ordered.  I'm a 90 year old woman, why would I order "Parenting" or "Sports Illustrated"?  I'm now getting dozens of magazine I neither want nor remember ever requesting.  When I contacted National Publishers to have the magazines stopped or dontated they said there was nothing they could do.  This is ridiculous and fraudulent and should be stopped.

I too have received magazines that I did not order and do not want. I did some research and found that they were coming from National Publishers Exchange their number is 1-800-890-8180  I contacted them before, months ago, and told them I did not want these magazines and never ordered them they said they would stop yet I kept getting the magazines. I have never received a bill but I have received phone calls from them and other names like "Publishers" trying to get me to give my credit card info and when I question who they are and ask what magazines they are referring to, they don't know,  even though they offered me a reduced price. When I start asking questions they hang up on me.  I am trying a new approach. I called "National Publishers" today,  I told them that I was not the person  at the address and I did not want them to send me this persons mail. they said they would cancel the magazines by notifying" Direct Clearing" and "American Preferred Readers" That this person was no longer at this address. He said that they should stop soon but that I may still receive one or two more before they process the cancellation notice. So we shall see if this works. By the way, when they call, it comes up on caller ID as Unknown Name Unknown Number.  Another Idea, If they call saying that you ordered Magazines and you didn't, Tell them you are blind
