I'm assuming that you called a toll free (800,888,877,etc..) number. *67 blocks your caller ID except for toll free numbers. Since the owner of the toll free number is paying for the call, they get to see who is calling them (on their dime). *67 only blocks your caller ID when you make non-toll calls. If you don't want the person on the other end to see your calling information, don't call a toll free number.
