BE AWARE: This company has no legal claim against you. Creditors sell only "write-off" claims to them. Legally, these claims have been "written off" by your original creditor. That means that the claim is finished. You can not be taken to court. You can not recieve an additional blemish on your credit report via NCO. You do not have to talk to them on the phone. You do not need to open or read any letter sent to you by NCO.

NO PAYMENT MADE TO NCO WILL AMEND YOUR CREDIT REPORT, OR ELIMINATE YOUR DEBT TO THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR.

NCO Representatives have threatened to do many things to this family over the course of their abusive correspondence. They have done all of the following:

Because NCO is not your legal creditor, they can NOT a) take you to court; b) report to the credit agencies (Equifax, ect.); c) have you arrested; d) reposess your property; e) speak to you abusively; f) refuse to relinquish your telephone line when you attempt to hang up; g) call more than once in one day.

It is illegal for NCO Financial Systems to threaten, or attempt or DO any of these items listed above. There are heavy fines which can be brought by the FCC for their actions so be sure to document their mis-behavior.

DO NOT PAY ONE SINGLE DIME TO NCO FINANCIAL SYSTEMS, no matter WHAT they may threaten.

the word "done" should read "threatened."

#3Author of original report

In paragraph 3 of my original complaint, the word "done" should read "threatened." This was a typo on my part, because I revised the text. My point was that they threatened to do these things, and the THREAT is illegal.
