Mrs. Perez from NCO Financial Systems called me June 12, 2003 to try to harrass me into making another payment. When I told her I already made one for June, she began to speak to me hatefully and attacking me verbally. I tried to respond, but she began yelling at me, so I hung up. She called me right back and immediately was screaming in the phone at me so I hung up on her again. I waited for 10 minutes or so, then I called her and asked to speak to her supervisor. Hatefully she said "who's calling?", and when I gave my name, she began to scream at me again. I told her that as soon as I speak with her boss she is fired. I will not pay a penny more on my account until I know she is fired.

third request to speak to management

I received a call today, again, from NCO and again, I asked to speak to a supervisor. This will have been a third request to speak to management. The lady kept asking which one, because "there are lot of them" she kept saying. I told her I wanted to speak to Mrs. Perez' supervisor and she still stalled...I told her once I died on hold after making this request, and she said that was because there are so many supervisors there. She put me on hold and Nick Bucci got on the line. I explained Mrs. Perez' behavior to me and he told me she no longer works there. He had a tone of voice that was threatening telling me I better have my check in the mail when I said I would. Then he put me on hold instead of hanging up....so I hung up. I regret not recording all the conversations with these employees. I think in Illinois the other party on the line has to agree to being taped....and there certainly wasn't enough time for that because of Mrs. Perez' suprising outbursts.

When dealing with NCO, collecting evidence is essential!

#6Consumer Suggestion

Fri, June 20, 2003

Since there have been so many reports of this type of behavior coming from NCO employees, I suggest that people look up (google) the telephone taping laws for their state, and start recording and archiving (depending on what your state allows) this harassing behavior. Speaking with individual employees can be fruitless and frustrating. They need to be called on these wrong and illegal actions.

For the past few months, NCO has been calling all six of my home phones, with Recordings from a Mr. Macantire' saying Please call this number: 1-800-933-6736 and when you call that number its NCO credit collections. Of course, they always say they are looking for Mrs X or Mr. Y which I am not either... Well Today was the cream of the pie when it come to trying to clear the matter up and stop the calls. I asked the woman who she was looking for and she asked for my phone number. Well, I said' Hey, you called me, I didn't call you.. So who are you looking for.. Well the woman went off the deep end and called me a F**king b***h and told me to pay my bills! When I said, you must have the wrong residence, she said "Stupid b***h I will make you pay these bills!" ~ Well I asked to speak to her supervisor and she call me a c**t and hung up... So... I called back and she called me Mrs. Collins, and I said "Sorry, you have the wrong person and these numbers I have, I just got installed a few months ago" she called me "Well I wont repeat the next line" but be assured, it was worse that the above mentioned things she called me! So! I am in the process of filing a lawsuit and restraining order against NCO Financial and if anyone eles wants to get involved, please post here and I will give you the details... NCO Finally pissed me off... I don't own anyone, anything, espacially NCO or medical, as we are of a faith that uses natural means for medical care and she was claiming we owed money to medical practices.. Hmmm.. Have not seen a doctor since I was born lol...
