NCRC is a debt consolidation company that I signed up with 5 years ago. They required a deposit of several hundred dollars (whatever your initial payment on the plan was to be) that was to be refunded upon completion of the program. One month prior to my final payment on the program I received a letter from NCRC that they were going out of business and instructions for transferring your account to the new company "Consolidate Credit." I transferred my account over and finished my final payment.

When I spoke with people at NCRC inquiring as to how to receive my refund once I made my final payment, they assured me it would be returned and to check the NCRC website in about 3 weeks as management was still "working out those issues." I called several more times and received evasive answers, and when the phone line was no longer working I sent e-mails on the website. Now the e-mails don't even go through and I've never received my refund.

I believe this company is fraudulent and it seems that many other people have filed similar reports and experiences with them.

I have used and completed the NCRC progam and was looking forward to receiving my refund. I called to verify that they had received the faxed information and was told that it would take 3 months for the refund to be processed. 3 months passed and no word. I call and spoke to the admin. who then transfered me to a recorded message which directed me to a 800 Number and the NCRC web-site. I followed the directions and sent a email to the proper location and got no response. 3 days later the site was down, and the number disconnected. I didn't have the money to begin with why steal from the poor. Tasha Hayward CA
