Please be advised that I fed my 5 cats with Purina Cat Chow for indoor cats and all of them got sick. After eating the dry food, they all developed diarrhea and vomiting non stop which made my life miserable, until I was able to contact my Vet for a check up who gave me medication, special gastrointestinal dry and wet food. I  called Purina to report this incident and it seems that Nestle Purina did not take this seriously. I checked in Goggle and other sites and found over 800 complains regarding Purina and Friskies that poisoned many cats. I called the 1-800-268-5645 to report this problem and no one  seemed to care. I was promised a check of $10.00 for the Purina Cat Chow , since their envelope was never sealed, therefore the check was lost. I reported this  to Purina and they did not believe me. I told the agent in customer service that I will send them back the unsealed envelope as proof and I was told that it is not necessary. I have not received a replaced check till now.

I paid $400.00 for the Vet and $76.95 and $18.68 extra for the gastro food because of the incompetence and lack of verification of the nutrition. I don’t like Nestle and I don’t buy any of their products since this corporation is too big to care about the consumer. Nestle Purina has to take the responsibility for their mistake that cost me unnecceseray expense  of $495.63 the money that I don’t have, since I am retired and I live on pension.I will never buy any Purina cat food again after this bad experience and I told my friends to buy veterinary cat food which is of better quality. I am very disappointed with Nestle Purina Pet Care  for blaming me for my sick cats that I changed food.I fed my cats for many years with Purina Cat Chow for indoor cats and never encountered any gastro problems until I bought the dry food on January 8th 2015 . I was told to contact the third party Sedgwick CMS Canada regarding my claim. I called the 1-866-642-0068 as mentioned in Nestle Purina letter and gave the agent the ID as I was told. No one ever called me back.This is a perfect example how Nestle Purina Pet Care is unaccountable for their quality of pet care food. This is a Hit and Run Corporation.
