Ignore the extremely low costs. Ignore the hype and promises of reliability and unlimited everything. I made a big mistake transferring my domain to this company.

So far, in three weeks....

1. The FTP server to which files destined for my website are sent to has been been unavailable a total of 8 times for periods up to 6 hours.

2. The control panel, although comprehensive, has been unreachable over 10 times (or at least parts have been). This makes it impossible, for example, to add email addresses, check logfiles, check FTP server is running (very useful - see point 1), etc.

3. The online support helpdesk is a joke. My first ticket was answered after 13 hours and the result went missing. Following another ticket, I did get a reasonable reply.... after 3 hours. The last ticket I sent them complained that my website was down (and remained down for at least 3 hours). I stated that I was extremely unhappy and required a reason for the failure, with a technical reason acceptable. I just got a "sorry for the performance problems" along with a smiley. I don't call the website being down for hours a performance problem.

I signed up for their Linux service. I hope to god that their Windows 2000 hosting service is a bit more reliable. But judging by their incompetent helpdesk, don't hold your breath.
