I was sold a SSL Certificate from Network Solutions by one of their web hosting support techs during a support question phone call. The network solutions tech said since I had my web hosting account with Network Solutions they could save me time by doing the SSL certificate server installation for me, all I would need to do is download a verification seal for my site and my e-commerce transactions would be secure on my website.
 
The Network Solution tech lied to me.

The SSL certificate was installed on my server, but it has never worked. Turns out I have a VPS hosting account with Network Solutions, meaning I manage my own server and they have no access to my files, and I would have to install the SSL certificate myself.

Followed every instruction to the letter in the installation, still wouldn't work. Call tech support 5 times, got conflicting information from every tech, they even offered to try to make the SSL certificate to work and could not make it work.

Tried one last time to fix it, using the same set up that I have on 2 other web sites with SSL Certificates from GoDaddy that do work and still the Network Solutions SSL Certificate won't validate or secure my web site.

I called tech support asked for help one last time explained my frustration with their service and when they still couldn't make it right I requested a refund on the SSL Certificate. Why should I pay for something that never worked!?

Talked to the supervisor, who kept me on the phone for close to an hour, he couldn't get it to work either. Again I requested a refund for the SSL Certificate since it didn't work, the supervisor refused my request again and said they did not give refunds for SSL certificates that have already been issued. I again requested a refund because the SSL certificate never worked. The supervisor refused to refund our $111.00.

We have a Gold VIP account with Network Solutions and have spent thousands of dollars on their services, it didn't matter to the supervisor I was speaking with over this matter.

Network Solutions only wants your money, they don't care if you have a problem with their service, because they already have your money and they won't give it back even if they made a mistake. Don't ever to business with Network Solutions, you will come to regret it like I do.
