Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been being harassed by this company since 2001. They have been garnishing my wages for over 12 years now without any knowledge of who is actually garnishing my wages and why. You would think that after 12-13 years whatever debt if any debt at all would be paid. I think that i am being ripped off by them and wish to seek some type of help with the matter even a possible law suit against them.

If you have been a victim of Pressler & Pressler, please contact me at (212) 726-2472 or email [email protected]. I’d like you to be a witness in New Jersey on November 18, 2014 (in New Jersey, 30-minutes from NYC if you're also interested) for a civil matter. Please contact me for details. I’ve spoken with many victims of Pressler & Pressler, and your Pressler stories have been horrific. Some of you I have cried with. Get your experience with Pressler on record and finally hold Pressler accountable for their horrific actions, while Pressler has the audacity to attempt to play the victim in a civil matter.

Yes, Steven Lang, Sheldon Pressler, Frank Petulo, Mitch Williamson, Gerald Felt, Lawrence McDermott and numerous other Pressler staff have been caught in a major lie, but because Pressler knows how to break the law within the law they've actually filed a civil complaint claiming THEY'RE the victims. Here's your chance for all of us to speak in numbers and put it on the record in front of dozens of witnesses. This may be your only opportunity to get heard by Pressler and see the persons who have defrauded you face to face

12 years is a long time. In order for this collections agency to garnish your wages, they would have to have a court order to garnish your wages. In order for them to get that order, the creditor would first would have to have a judgment against you.

Look up your name in the public records of your county to find out what judgments you have against you.

You also should be able to look up the court order allowing the garnishment.

Research on the web if you don't know how to look up these items. Check to see who the creditor is and when the judgments were filed. Then you will need to find out what remains of the debt and how much you paid. if you are almost paid off, it would be worthwhile to just pay off the entire debt and get a Satisfation of Judgment recorded so they can't come after you again.

However, if there is significant debt remaining, then you will need to check into other financial solutions to terminate this wage garnishment.

If the debt isn't your debt, then you need to get in touch with a consumer debtor attorney to find out what your options are for recapture of the wrongfully garnished wages (if any). Good luck with this.
