New Horizons Recovery This place is a nothing but a money maker for the owner who has no knowledge of addiction whatsoever. Supervision is sorely lacking, there are people constantly relapsing with no consequences, no one Encinitas, California
This place has no medical supervision. A nurse stops by every 2 weeks. There are no chores assigned, so the place is filthy if no one feels like cleaning. Absolutely nothing to do all day, meetings at night, but attending is not enforced. In fact, no rules are enforced. People come and go as they please, no one searches to see what they've brought in, the house guests are having sex and getting high right under the house managers nose. No consequences exist until your insurance money runs out, which is about 7.000 per week, and then they give you 2days notice to get the hell out. It is a nightmare. People will steal from your room any chance they get. If you're serious about recovery stay away. If you want a place to hang with iv meth and heroin addicts and still get high this is the place for you! Total ripoff. I've never experienced anything like it in my life. They need their license taken away.
