I HAD LIPOSUCTION PERFORMED COUPLE WEEKS AGO AND IT WAS HORRIBLE!! AT FIRST WHEN I WENT IN FOR INFORMATION DR. SHEIBANI GURANTEED HE HAD FULL EXPERIENCE IN LIPO AND THAT BEING HIS MAIN FOCUS...AND HE WOULD BE THE ONE TO PERFORME THE SURGERY. THE DAY OF MY SURGERY I WOKE UP HALFWAY THRU THE PROCEDURE AND IN HORRIBLE PAIN, I CLEARLY REMEMBER WAKING UP AND FEELING PAIN WHILE THEY WERE PERFORMING LIPO ON ME. I WAS TELLING THEM TO "STOP...THAT THEY WERE HURTING ME!" AND ALL THEY DID WAS PUSH ME BACK AND TOLD ME "ALMOS DONE" THIS IS DEFENETLY NOT PROFESSIONAL PROCEDURES. AND TO TOP IT OFF DR. SHEIBANI WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. THEY THREW ME IN A WHEEL CHAIR FEW MINUTES AFTER I WOKE UP..NO TIME TO RECOVER. I WAS GIVEN THE WRONG GARMENT WITH NO PEE HOLE. MY NAME IS MARTHA AND THIS IS WHAT I SAW" WHEN MY SISTER CAME HOME FROM SURGERY SHE LOOKED DEAD PRACTICALLY....IVE SEEN WOMEN GET LIPO AND THEY ARE ALMOST FINE...ABLE TO WALK,SPEAK, AND ARE CONCIENCE-MY SISTER ON THE OTHER HAND WAS PALE PALE,HER BODY WAS COLD AND UNABLE TO SPEAK THATS WHEN SHE TOLD ME THEY HURT HER AND WOKE UP HALF WAY THRU THE OPERATION AND NO CIDATION WAS GIVEN TO HER. I TRULY BELIEVE DR. SHEIBANI IS NOT..I REPEAT IS NOT A QUAILIFIED SURGEON...IVE READ 3 REPORTS ON THIS WEBSITE AND SIMILIAR STORY..WE NEED TO SPEAK UP AND PERHAPS THERE ARE LIVES WE WILL SAVE...ALSO FOUND OUT FROM A REPORT THAT DR.SHANE SHEIBANI STARTED AS A DERMATALOGIST-WHEN HE CLEARLY STATED HIS SPECIALTY WAS LIPO...ALSO, IT WAS VERY HARD TO LOCATE DR.SHANE SHEIBANI..THEY CHANGED THEIR NUMBER AND FACILITY WITH OUT CONTACTING MY SISTER..WE HAD TO SEARCH THE WEB UNTIL WE FINNALY TRACKED HIM DOWN....I REMEMBER I CALLED HIM AND WENT TO HIS CELL PHONE...DON'T SUCCESFUL AND PROFESIONAL SURGEONS HAVE ASSISTANTS??????? HE CALLED ME TWICE BC HE HAD TWO MISSED CALLS....HOW PROFESSIONAL IS THAT WHEN U CANT KEEP TRACK OF UR PATIENTS?! DR. SHEIBAINI SHOULD NOT BE PERFORMING THESE TYPES OF PROCEDURES. ITS TIME TO SPEAK UP AND FIGHT THIS BC IT IS A CRIME. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO PLAY GOD.

Conscious Sedation is Exactly That IDIOT! Conscious Sedation

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

I am sick of reading the type of BS that people go out there and write to hurt other people!

First off; you as the sister of a patient have no business having much opinion about the experience because you did not experience it yourself. You make stupid, uneducated claims that obviously to the stupid, non-medically educated people may make sense but I am sure almost all of those who read the surgical information know better.

Sedation is conscious IDIOT! People are supposed to be conscious otherwise we use General Anesthesia. Close to the end of the procedure people ae supposed to wake up. That is what you pay the anesthesiologist for; to wake up!!! You should be kissing the doctors' hands for treating you and giving you great service after decades of education and hard work. Instead, you go around and make your stupid selves entitled to writing a whole bunch of crap, just because you feel jealous that your sister could afford the surgery but you could not. That is not the doctors' fault!

I was there for several years in his practice and Dr. Sheibani and his staff had done thousands of great surgeries. Face, breast and body. Dr. Sheibani is a great surgeon and a great artist and whatever these jealous idiots say out there is none-sense because they are unhappy with their own life. Cosmetic surgery is a very tough business. You get all kinds of crazy, psycho people who come in and expect miracles. even after you tell them all the risks and tell them what to do to avoid it, they go out there and act like morons and get upset when they cause themselves trouble. Of course that is not to say this is true for everyone, but no surgery is one hundred percent risk free and if someone does not accept the risks, then she/he has no business having surgery.

I don't see any crime here.  Has anyone died?  From what I have read about the procedure, it is painful and dangerous.  The fact that you don't have an infection shows me he did a good job.

The fact that you and your sister went for the same procedure tells me he is probably cheap.

When I woke up from my bypass, I was also in terrible pain, and according to my wfe, looked very bad.  I seriously doubt they were operating while you were awake.  They were probably closing up.

Turn off the caps, learn to spell and use paragraphs

According to the AMA website this Doctor is listed as a non member specializing in Plastic Surgery - he is not listed on the American Association of Plastic Surgeons

Biggest question - what is the reason you think you needed lipo to begin with?? What do you hope to benefit by filing this report? Did you file a report with the AMA?? Did you consult another surgeon?
