Magazine subscriptions continue to show up on my credit card. I call and cancel when they appear but the Latest Scam - is the phrase "through the END of the delivery status". Which means there could be a rollover that automatically continues to charge it to the credit card with authorization....for up to the lifetime of the credit card.

This has happened on my elderly (73 years old) parents credit card as well. Magazines show up that were not authorized but they are charged to our credit cards.

How many Thousands of people is this happening to - across the US? When you look at a magazine and with what we know the costs of publication in color are - this is the only way many of these magazines are staying in business....which I consider an illegal violation of the use of my credit card number- to give it or sell it to anyone else other that the explicit business transaction I used it for.

Is there a solution? Even for this complaint....all I have is an 800 number for NEW SUBs....no address, state, etc. How can we legally fight an enemy we cannot access?

HELP STOMP OUT ILLGAL CREDIT CARD NUMBER USAGE - especially among magazine sellers!
