Just like I said, it's now six weeks....here's the update. I had to take them to court, which I won by the way (Now they have 30 days to reimburse me). But before I go any further, they just could not stop fibbing. They even tried to lied about who they are when I requested their mailing address for court reasons. When ask if what I had was correct, "We are NOT the trailblazers, we are protection first... Trailblazers are the owner of the facility aka our "landlord". Our mailing address is (some fake address in NYC)...blah blah blah" was the response. O.k fine I went ahead and sued them using BOTH addresses (it does not cost additional fees for this), but still went along with Trailblazers since it only make sense since that's the name on my receipt.
Now why at the day of court, a clerk that works there pointed out to me that only one of the address was valid (the one on Jamaica avenue), the address in NYC they gave me was not valid!!! PS. If you want to get your money back it is still possible, don't even call them. Just go to the courthouse (it cost $15.00) and sue them using the Jamaica avenue address and their business name is NY Trailblazers. If they show up, they might give you a fight via the arbitrator. However, if they do not show up, you go through an "inquest" (which was in my case)- automatic win- just tell the judge you paid ABC and was suppose to be offered XYZ upon providing receipts and within two days you will receive a letter telling you they have 30 days to pay you :-). Also keep in mind, each court case against them go towards negative publicity they will receive; which is only going in your favor. If you feel discouraged because you think you don't have enough evidence. I will give you a hint- They advertise as a company that will place you on a job but first you will NEED to be certified, you can do this by enrolling in an 8 hour Pre-assignment and a 16 HOUR ON THE JOB TRAINING class which comes at a cost. According to Department of State, you only need the 8 hour, after you are employed then you have to take the 16 hour.
http://www.dos.state.ny.us/lcns/professions/securityguard/guardfaq.html#c
Them letting you believe you need the 16 hour is case of Fraud or/and False Advertising which are both illegal.
Anyway, will update again if necessary until then....

Pprada how blind can you be? Not because you got a Job means that it's ligit. Each week they have over 50 new faces that they claim will be placed not a week later, not a month later, but the following day after you complete training. There is no way they can get that much people new jobs each week and keep up with it. So this is what they do- they might know a couple people who owns security companies, so lets say ABC security needs one or two person, they send like 20 people at different times to see ABC so one maybe two gets chosen. The agents make it clear that as soon as you complete, you will be placed. How is sending 20 people for two positions being placed? Off the top they lied!!! They even send someone I knew from the training to home depot and another to a retail sales interview! Where did the Corporate Front Desk go? You don't need a certificate to work retail sales or home depot!!! They lie like they breath air and the sad thing about it, most people just give up because they are fed up or Naive about their rights (most people in there when i went were like 19/20).
And check it, for who don't know they do not issue security license! If you don't ask they wont tell you. THEY DON'T (If you do ask, they will avoid the question or find a fancy way to say no)
What I'm trying to figure out is why on your receipt it says "NYC Trailblazers" but on the certificate it says 1st protective security. There is something fishy that I have not figure out yet. Trailblazers are NOT registered with the "Division of Criminal Justice", neither are they with "Department of State". That only means they are not a security company but a private company that uses "protection 1st" to issue there paperwork. Below is a link with all the security companies in the state of new york:

There is a way to get your money back from this company!!
They have no valid license from the state of New York. i called Mr Moore and told him that i know that, and that if they don't bring me my money back i am going to take them to court, they immediatly refunded my money! (no questions asked!)
you see, the document you sign there says no refunds, but it also says that the business is legit and that you will be receiving a security license authorized by the state of New York, so.... if you threaten them to go to court and to go to department of consumer affairs they will refund you immediatly, because they have no valid license in the department of criminal justice (the school is not valid) or the department of state....
they actually gave me the number of the girl i was supposed to speak with, that girl works for the NY department of licensing, and she said that the company have no valid license... WTF!!!
i immediatly called them, telling them that the company is not registered, they said that i am a lier, and that i have not called them, and invited me to come to their office and call the woman from there, that is exactly what i did.
when i got there , they refunded 100% of my money ($518 that i paid for training)...
they asked me not to tell anyone for the sake of good business...
Take advantage of this information before the company goes bust, you can still get your money back... i came in, 10 minutes yelled, and got out. i even told them when i left that when they do get their license they can call me, because i really wanted to work, they have not called me since and i got 100% of my money back. good luck, and screw them over just like they did to you.
by the way, Mr. Moore, Mr. Colombo, Mr. Fortuna and Mr. Al are all fake names, these are kids working for a master scammer who is in charge of the whole operation.
Mr. Frank, the guy who is i charge of employment... they told me that he was a cop, but when i asked him about it, he avoided the question.
Mr. French is also supposed to be a detective that works there, but i doubt that very much... the whole thing is a sham and you can get your money bac now!!!
call them, and tell them that you are coming to the office to get your money back, tell them that you know that they do not have a license, and they will refund you.. .they don't want to be on TV... trust me

My husband and I both were recently hired by Mr. Columbo from Trailblazers Security, located on the second floor of the Capitol one building on Jamaica avenue. After the interview he showed me the license issued to the company that allowed them to hire people for security. I was also told that I was being hired by Trailblazers. The reason for paying the money is for training; if you do not pass your training, you can not work for them or if your back-ground check does not come back clean, you can not work for them. The number for Trailblazers of Ny is not 347-231-5721, it is a 646 area code number. I was also provided with paper that explain the costs and what every dime of my money is going for. You are paying for your training to carry a fire-arm and to learn procedures to care for individuals in which may be injured in certain circumstances (CPR) until proper authorities can arrive. This is a serious and at times can be dangerous, the hiring employer has every right to assure that the individuals in whom they hire are going to take themselve serious enough by paying for their own training. I am not sure if we talked to the same people; to me it does not sound like it. I was shown the class room (in which there were people being taught), introduced to another instructor and also as I mentioned earlier, explained the costed and also explaind that I was being hired by Trailblazer Security Firm, and as long as I complete my training and successfully pass my manditory certifications, I will be working for their establishment, and have it in writing (my husband and I both).

I've recently graduated Trailblazers training school and couldn't be anymore satified with the services i've received. The training consisted of three days and i got a certificate for each course i took. I've couldn't be any more happier after getting a job right away from being unemployed for a year when i couldn't find any. The representative that enrolled me was very different from the one mentioned and was enthusiatic in helping me out. After searching through many other security schools, I've choosen this one because it was the cheapest and the others don't always provide job placement. The teacher taught me to always stay on point when looking out for the safety of others and was entertaining to listen to. I was hesatant at first when finding out about the job because i was down to my last saving of money and i had to make a $100 deposit for a seat in the class. The courses totaled to $299 but it was worth it because i have a reliable paycheck now. Most of the complaints made about it comes from people that didn't complete the full program and lost their money when signing a contact that's non- refundable. Must think carefully when signing some you don't wish to take part of. I would recommend the program to any future security guard because it's a well credited school, it just lacks publicity and a website online. I also asked to see their license as a training facility and they've gave me their school code and number to call for verification. They're a job agency but provide jobs for those who commit to getting them.

i got to Trail Blazers 2 months ago and paid the 1,300$ for my gun license to a guy called Mr. Colombo. after i was done with the training they positioned me at a job, and now that i have my license they placed me on a Brinks Car, which is the coolest job i'v ever had. so you may have had a bad experience, but i know a lot of people who are happy with their services, calling them a rip-off is not very nice.
