Purchased a travel package that sounded too good to be true, It was.  Unable to travel within the 18 months given I asked for the package to be cancelled and was told it could be cancelled if I paid the additional money for the second ticket that was not used.  I have been receiving calls from Tristar or Newport every week for the past 6 months in spite of telling them I had no intention of paying more for an expired package, no intention of travelling and requesting that they stop calling me.  Asked for additional info about why they feel I owe them money and Josh Oliver (an alias) said the company had no intention of wasting correspondence as I had received the information in 2011 an "obviously didn't bother reading it then".

When I asked for a call back number he gave me a number that was no longer in service - I contacted the company back at the number on my caller ID and he claimed I must have written the number down wrong, but refused to provide the number to me again.

The callers get rude and obnoxious when questioned.  I even had one make "static noises" and calim he could not hear me.  This company just continues to try to collect money for travel never taken.
