Don't take this, Fight it Take them to court, you file in your jurisdiction not theirs. Companies Like Sprint/Nextel are not looked favorably by any court. You can even demand a trial by jury and I would guarantee you, someone on the jury has had problems with them, or a similar company. FIGHT IT

i used to collect for sprint.. sure.. someone probably did tell you that your service would be disconnected without any fee's. I believe you. Any collector would believe you but without documentation and proof.. you're screwed. but! don't worry! because you can probably settle the account.... call the collection agency.. look up the account. tell them you want to take care of it.. ask if they have any settlements available... they can give you 50% off.. just ask for it... it's easy.. but don't fight it and cause problems.. because they will notate your account and you'll never get a settlement.. they'll keep hitting your credit report til you pay it... and with this kind of economic crisis going on.. you can't afford to have a delinquent sprint/nextel account on your credit.. just pay it off or settle it out.. pentagroup is the last collection agency to get the account.. so don't try and screw them.. get what you can.. trust me.. people will work with you.. the collectors are hungry for money and will take anything... that's why i got out of it.. economy sucks.. so does collections
